Sparky Helps Out
I went over to the Curio Shop right after school today to help out. With Christmas coming up I am trying to get as many hours in at the Curio Shop as possible. I was having a great afternoon. With everyone getting ready for Christmas Uncle Arte’s shop has been packed. The thing is, I hadn’t mentioned to Uncle Arte that I had failed my math test yesterday. I mean, I guess I was going to tell him at some point. I’m just not sure when exactly I was planning to do that. These things take time, you know? I was just helping Dr. Quack wrap up a present for a ‘certain someone’ (what the heck does that mean, anyway) when I heard the bell over the door ring and when I looked around, I saw Ms. Cowoline walked in the door with Cowabelle. Can you say Panic Stations? The last thing I needed was for Ms. Cowoline to start chatting with Uncle Arte and spill the beans about the test. Fluffington’s Tasting
Chef Gazpacho here, and boy am I mad! As you all know, I’m one of Webkinz World’s finest chefs. I’ve had years of training and experience – and my dishes are, without a doubt, delicious. Fluffington asked me to cook for his Christmas day extravaganza. I agreed, and we had the tasting today. I made up all the dishes I was planning to cook for the big day, and Fluffington tasted each one. And hated them. All of them. He said my Ophidian Callaloo was salty, my Squishadish was under-flavored, and my Wozzled Elphinda was too sweet. Really? REALLY!? Because everyone at my restaurant thinks they’re all wonderful. Anyway, as you can imagine, I wasn’t very happy. I packed up my things and left. I don’t know who’s going to be making Fluffington’s special meals, but I’ll tell you one thing: it won’t be me!

Sparky’s Test
Uh oh. It’s Sparky and today is not my day. I just got my math test back and it was not good. I flunked it! I can’t believe it! I’m usually pretty good at math, so I just didn’t think I needed to bother studying. Also, I have got a lot of stuff to do. I mean, I’ve got to earn some money right now so I can get Uncle Arte a really awesome gift. I don’t even know why Ms. Cowoline is giving us tests in December. Doesn’t she know that nobody is thinking about school right now? Christmas is coming! Of course, it didn’t help that Alex got an A+ on his test. Not that he would ever brag about it or anything but I saw it when Ms. Cowoline handed it back to him. I don’t know what to do. I have to go help out at the Curio Shop tomorrow, but if Uncle Arte finds out about my test he is not going to be pleased. I think I’ll just shove it in the bottom of my backpack and forget about it for now. Uncle Arte never has to know.
Check out the Message Center!
As you’ve probably noticed, we added a Message Center to your Dock in Webkinz World. Be sure to check it out, because you can do the following things there: 1. Use the Friend Finder to find a friend (and invite them to join your Friends List). You can do this by using the “Friend Finder” button on the bottom right hand side of the Message Center. You’ll see a list of possible friends and you can choose whether or not you want to add them. You can send 8 Friend Requests per day. 2. Receive requests from your friends for Challenge items. Challenge items are things a friend needs to complete a task in a Challenge. To ask a friend for an item, just use the ‘Ask Friend’ button next to a task when you’re doing a Challenge. (If you don’t want to wait for a friend to send you an item, you can just buy it from the eStore.) You can only send one request per friend each day. Remember: Challenge items don’t appear in your Dock, they only count towards the goal in your Challenge task. … Read more
Molly’s Great Idea
Hey! It’s me, Molly. Millie and I have had a long day and I am exhausted! What started out as a small project turned into a major undertaking. I found out that there was a Kinzville toy drive and asked my mom if she would take us to the W Shop and let us choose some gifts that we could give away to kids who are less fortunate than us. I have some KinzCash saved up from my allowance and I thought this would be a pretty good way to spend it. My mom loved the idea and then she said that if any of my friends wanted to donate too, she could drive over and pick up the toys and deliver them to the toy drive. Isn’t that a great idea? So I sent out an email to my friends telling them what I had in mind and the response I got was overwhelming! Almost all of my friends said that they would donate at least one toy to the toy drive. In attendance: Stoogles, Salley, Purr-Cilla Minutes: Because a certain Googles and certain Alley Cat can’t seem to see eye-to-eye on anything, I, Purr-Cilla, am writing these minutes. You’re welcome. First, I just want to say how completely ridiculous Stoogles and Salley are being. Like, really! What is up with those two? Just chill out and apologize. That’s coming from ME, queen of not apologizing. It’s just so insane. They’re not even speaking, as I take these minutes. Just glaring at each other. We’ve got to plan the holiday assembly and carol sing, but can I get them to agree on anything? NO! Roberta’s Homemade Holidays: Desk Set
Welcome to my crafty workshop! Today, I’m working on my mom’s gift. She loves being crafty – I guess that’s where I get it from! Mom’s desk is ALWAYS messy, so I thought I could make her a desk set to help organize some of her stuff. Here’s how I did it: What you need: scrapbooking paper (three different patterns or colors works well – make sure they look good together), scissors, ruler, pencil, shoe box top, paper towel tube, small square box, paper cup, long rectangular box, double-sided tape, craft glue, stickers (optional) What you do: Cover the shoe box top in scrapbook paper. You don’t really need to do the bottom, but make sure you cover each side and the inside of the box top. Measure the paper so it’s large enough to fit around the outside of each of your containers. Cut it to fit. If you’re covering something like a drinking cup, you might find it easier to cover with strips, as opposed to larger pieces of paper. Strips work better since the cup is curved. To do these Challenges, just visit your pet’s room and look for the Challenge Icons. You’ll love “Bon Appétit” and “All Star Astronomer” – and the prizes you can earn! With “Bon Appétit,” you’ll get to appeal to your pet’s inner gourmand. Hone your pet’s skills for all things gourmet, and earn yourself some recipe foods, Chef Gazpacho’s Place Setting, and a gorgeous Dining Out Table. In “All Star Astronomer,” your pet will get to explore outer space, help Goober in his lab, and fly a Hoppy Little Rocketship, among other things. When you’re playing a Challenge, sometimes you need to ask a friend for something. Never fear, it’s really easy! Just click “Ask Friend” in the Challenge window, and you’ll get to choose which friends to ask. You can ask each friend for something once per day. This is another great reason to use the Friend Finder to add more friends to your list!
Hailey and Elwin Make Over Fluffington’s Yard
No! No! No! This is all wrong! I cannot believe what Hailey and Elwin did to my yard! I mean, I know that I already let them loose in my living room and games room. I tried to cope with the fact that all my golden furniture and purple accessories had been removed to be replaced with red and green (how common!) and that my games room had been turned into some sort of giant white checkerboard. But this yard is all wrong! Don’t Hailey and Elwin understand that I represent Kinzville’s gentry? I am from one of Kinzville’s oldest and most established families. I mean, if Great Aunt Meriwether sees a snowman, what is she going to think? That I’ve been rolling around in the snow in my expensive clothing? What about those ridiculous ice sculptures of the fairies and this poofy red gazebo. (Why can’t they get that I like GOLD?)
