Roberta Rabbit: Not Looking Forward to Thanksgiving
Hey guys. It’s Roberta rabbit here and boy am I having a rough day. What’s up? Glad you asked. My dad has gone traveling again. He’s a sales rabbit (for the Kinzville Washing Machine Company) and that means he’s on the road a lot. I really miss him when he’s gone, but at least he always tries to make it home for the holidays. This year, it looks like he might be missing Thanksgiving. Can you believe it? My entire family (including all of my cousins, aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles and family friends) get together at my grandparents’ house. But not my dad. I don’t understand why he can’t skip the trip – or come home early! Everyone else gets a holiday. It’s not fair. Thanksgiving is kind of ruined for me this year.

Nibbles Hippo: Cupcake Reporter
Nibbles Hippo here, with coverage of the super-awesome cupcake competition! On this, the day before the fair, I’m going to visit all of the bakers and see how their last minute cupcake-creations are coming along. Come with me and let’s see if we can get a sneak preview of some entries! Ah, here we are at Salley’s house. Now, Salley has been VERY busy getting everything ready. This whole fair was pretty much her idea, after all! Let’s see if we can chat with her for a second. I’ll just ring her doorbell and… *Ten minutes (and several doorbell rings) later* Hm. Doesn’t seem like she’s answering. No matter! We’ll hit Cowabelle’s house. She’s just down the street, and she should be home, working hard on her cupcake. Ah! Yes! I hear her footsteps. Let’s see if we can get an interview with her! CC: Hi Nibbles. What’s up?NH: I’m here to interview you!CC: What do you mean? Interview me about what?NH: Your cupcake! For tomorrow’s competition!CC: Uh, no. That’s not going to happen. My cupcake is under wraps! I’m not telling you what I’m doing!NH: Please? PLEASE?CC: No. See you … Read more

Roberta’s Craft
Know what I love? Big earrings! Probably because my ears are…somewhat…prominent. So. Big earrings! I LOVE making jewelry, so here’s how to make some pretty dangly earrings for yourself (or a friend). What you need:Beads, thread, needle, earring backing (either pierced or clip on), square of cardstock What you do: Put the thread through the needle. Choose which beads you’d like to use. I had this whole container of multi-colored beads. I did one rainbow pair and one blue-ish pair. Make a small knot at the end of the thread and string the beads onto the thread. You can make your earrings as dangly as you like! Tie the thread to your earring backing. Snip off any extra thread. Display your earrings on a piece of cardstock with your company’s name on it!
Everyone meets to get set up for the big day
By Cowabelle Cowoline Wow! There was some major drama today at the Kinzville Academy. We all met at the school to start setting up for the Fall Fair. It was going pretty well. We got the tub all set up for Lucky Ducky and Stoogles was filling it up with water. I was mixing colors for the Face Paint. Roberta and Alex were measuring out the correct distance from the basket for the beanbag toss. Purr-cilla was laying out the hula hoops for the hula hoop game. Suddenly, Salley came running out of the school with Nibbles behind her. She ran straight over to Purr-cilla and shouted, “Where is it?” Purr-cilla looked as shocked as the rest of us. Which was kind of shocking in itself, because Purr-cilla always tries to act like she knows exactly what’s going on. She asked what Salley was looking for and Salley just screamed, “You know what I’m talking about? Where is it?” We all came running over and Roberta asked what had happened. Nibbles told us that someone had taken the golden vase that Fluffington had donated from the cupboard in the art room. Salley cried, “It … Read more
