Challenge Sneak Peek: Communal Contest
This weekend, practice your aiming skills with Zingoz Pop! Use your left and right arrow keys to aim, and the up arrow to shoot a bubble. Match three or more bubbles to pop them. Take advantage of one of the four special powers — pop the glowing bubbles to earn one. Don't let the bubbles pass the line at the bottom or it's game over!
Sprinkled Cupcakes
Sprinkles the MAZIN' Hamster has arrived and there’s no better way to celebrate than with a batch of delicious (and adorable!) sprinkled cupcakes! Here’s what you need to make a tray of your own: What you need: ½ cup of softened unsalted butter, vanilla extract, three cups of icing sugar, bowl, hot water, hand mixer, adult assistant, rainbow sprinkles What you do: 1. With the assistance of your adult assistant, make a batch of your favorite vanilla cupcakes. Let them cool. 2. Having your adult assistant help, get ready to make some icing! 3. Put the butter into the bowl. Mix it with the mixer until it’s creamy. Add one teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix well. 4. Start adding the icing sugar gradually. Mix it in thoroughly after each addition. If you find the icing is getting too stiff, add a little bit of hot water and mix thoroughly. 5. When your icing is lovely and creamy, put it into a plastic baggie and snip a pencil-sized hole at one corner of the baggie. This is your icing bag. 6. Frost the cupcakes. 7. Some Fabulous Winter Fun Ideas!
Sometimes it feels like winter will go on forever and the warm weather will never return! Fear not, spring isn’t TOO far away…and winter days can also be LOTS of fun! Here are some wonderful wintry ideas: 1. Get outside and play! a. Have a snowman making contest. b. Paint in the snow with water and food coloring mixed together in a spray bottle. c. Go sledding! 2. Have a hot chocolate taste test. Make up a regular batch of hot chocolate and then add other stuff – a chunk of white chocolate, a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon or nutmeg, a candy cane – anything that will make it taste a little different. Take a few sips and compare – see if you create a new taste sensation! 3. Play a sport! Hockey is great, and so is ice skating – anything that gets you outside and moving! 4. Have a winter dressing race – see who can put on all their outside gear fastest! 5. Build snow castles – somewhat like sand castles, but with snow! 6.
