What to get Sparky
Hey, Alex here and I’m really excited because my friend Sparky’s birthday is coming up! On Friday some of us were talking about what to get him at recess. He wasn’t there because he and Roberta and Nibbles all had to stay in and clean up Ms. Stripes craft cupboard, ‘cause I think they got in trouble or something. Salley really wants for us to all pool our money and buy Sparky something big, like the 4 Wheel ATV. That is a pretty cool idea, but Cowabelle said that she and Roberta were going to make something for Sparky themselves. They do make really neat crafts – I wonder what they’re going to get him. Stoogles said that he kind of wanted to get Sparky a game from the W Shop, and Molly and Polly both said they were planning to go in together and get Sparky a new Baseball Glove. Hmmm… I’m stumped. I’m not sure what the best thing to do is. I tried to ask Roberta and Nibbles what they thought after school but they were both really grumpy and said that they didn’t want to get him anything. Huh? What was that all about? Maybe it … Read more

Halloween Party: Cancelled?
Hi! It’s Nibbles and I had a terrible day yesterday. Sparky was trying to help plan the class Halloween party and he was being totally unreasonable. Ms. Stripes already said no candy or costumes so I was trying to plan a fun party that didn’t include those things. You know, we could still have fun playing games and there are lots of fun Halloween treats that you can make that aren’t candy. But Sparky is still hung up on the whole candy and costume thing and so he didn’t like any of the ideas I came up with. I suggested bobbing for apples and he said who is going to want to get all wet. So then I said we could do ‘Pin the Broom on the Witch’ and Sparky said that’s for babies. I had a yummy recipe for finger sandwiches that look like real fingers and Sparky said that was gross. But it’s Halloween! It’s supposed to be gross! Anyway, I was getting so fed up of his negative attitude that I started to get mad and then Sparky got mad and then Roberta took my side (because I’m right!) But next thing you know, Ms. Stripes interrupts … Read more
Craft: Build Your Own Log Cabin
Have you tried the new Building Kits in Webkinz World? They’re so much fun to make, why not try creating some Building Kit-inspired pieces in real life? Here’s how you can make your very own log cabin. What you need: - An empty milk carton, rinsed - A package of drinking straws - Card - Glue - Scissors - Brown paint - Paint brush - An adult assistant What you do: Have your assistant help you cut a small door in front end of the milk carton (the side that makes a triangle at the top) and two windows on either side. Trace the triangular top end of the milk carton onto a piece of card and cut out two pieces. Cut about 40 drinking straws to the width of the milk carton. Cover the sides of the milk carton with glue and stick the straws to the sides, leaving a gap where the windows are cut out. Cut enough straw pieces of about 1” to cover the walls on either side of the windows. On the front of the milk carton, measure the space on either side of the small door, … Read more
Hailey and Elwin Decorate the Curio Shop
After seeing how eerily well our studio turned out, a few businesses have asked us to help decorate their spaces for Halloween. Arte Fact came and asked if we would help him deck out the Curio Shop. What do you think? We used the Mega Modern Wallpaper with the High End Flooring because we thought that would create a dark, spooky backdrop. Arte has some shelving in the shop and his counter, which we had to work around, but we threw in a load of creepy clutter like the Creature Closet, the Ghostly Grand Piano, the Alchemist’s Stove, and the Cranky Fortune Teller to haunt the space! Arte is really pleased with how it turned out. He said when he was in the shop on his own and the Cranky Fortune Teller started talking he almost jumped out of his skin!

Ella Interviews Ms. Stripes
Ella McWoof here with a interview of one of Kinzville’s newest residents, Ms. Stripes. Ms. Stripes is a new teacher at the Kinzville Academy. Ms. Stripes, perhaps you’d like to start by telling us how you’re finding life in Kinzville. Ms. Stripes: Well, Ella, I’ll be honest – I got off to a little bit of a rocky start here. I think I was so concerned about being a good teacher that I came down a bit too hard on the kids and perhaps didn’t make the best first impression. Ella: Really? Well, that’s funny because recently I’ve been hearing really good things about you from the kids. I also heard that you hired some well-known elephants to help you get your house in order. Ms. Stripes: Oh, that’s true! You know, I have been saving up for years to buy a home and I wanted to make sure that when I did I had the KinzCash to do it up just the way I wanted. I had heard such great things about Hailey and Elwin and I must say they did not disappoint! I am just thrilled with my new home and Hailey and I have become quite friendly! … Read more

Decorating the KinzStyle Outlet for Fall
Hailey here with another fun makeover job for my brother and I! We’ve been asked to redecorate various stores in Kinzville and make them seasonally sensational! We’re starting with the KinzStyle Outlet – home of all things fashionable and fabulous. PJ told us that she just wanted a little bit of color to represent the fall season – and a few decorations to celebrate Halloween (her favorite holiday). So this is what we came up with: What do you think? I love the warm orange walls (they used to be white) and the black flooring (very chic; I think PJ might actually keep it even after Halloween is over!). We’ve added various decorations, including two prize pumpkins. They’re just gorgeous! The striped orange and white chairs and orange carpets add an extra boost of fall. What’s your favorite thing about autumn or Halloween, friends?
