Plumpy’s Big Day
Can you believe it? My wedding is FINALLY here! It’s so exciting! All my relatives and friends are here, and I’m just hoping I haven’t forgotten anything. There’s so much to do when you plan a wedding…food, dancing, decorating…and don’t get me wrong, I’m sure Fluffington did a great job making his yard beautiful, and Chef Gazpacho and Chef Sophia made wonderful food…and I’m sure the music will be super. But…I just hope everyone has a good time, you know? I can’t wait to get into my dress and walk down that aisle. I haven’t seen Charles today (it’s supposedly bad luck to see your groom before the wedding), but I’m sure he’s just as nervous as I am. Only a few more hours now…and then…it’s my big day!
Father’s Day gift ideas with Roberta
Hey everyone! Father’s Day is tomorrow, and I don’t know about you guys, but I’m pretty excited. My dad is amazing. He and I love to hang out (when he’s not traveling on business). I’m even named after him! (He’s Robert, I’m Roberta). So I wanted to come up with a few extra-special things to make my dad. Here’s what I’m going to give him tomorrow: Picture Frame This was pretty easy to make. I just got some wooden sticks, craft glue, paint, and a picture of me (the other side is empty for when my new brother or sister arrives – their picture can go in there). First, I glued four sticks together to make one square frame. Then I did the same for the other frame. I painted the frames. I used construction paper on the back to attach the two frames together (I just glued the construction paper rectangle to each square). Then, when everything was dry, I put in the picture of me. Aren’t I cute? Dad Coupons I made my dad a few coupons to use – but I decided to cut them into fun shapes, instead of just making a book. I … Read more

What are the ‘Kinz doing for Father’s Day?
By Ella McWoof Ella McWoof here with a report on what local kids have planned for their dads on Father’s Day on June 17. EM: Roberta Rabbit, would you care to share with us what you plan to do for your dad on Father’s Day? Roberta: Sure, Ella. I just love crafting and my mom and dad made me a really cool craft room in our new house. So for Father’s Day I decided to make my dad a paperweight in my new kiln that we got from the Creative Studio theme in the W Shop. EM: That’s really neat that you’re making your own gift, Roberta! Salley, what do you have planned for the big day? Salley: Well, the day before Father’s Day I am taking the train to West Kinzville so that I can spend the weekend with my dad! We are going to go and see a baseball game together that day. I can’t wait! EM: Cool! Molly, any big plans? Molly: My mom said that we should all take my dad for a picnic, so Millie and I are making everything ourselves and we’re going to walk over to … Read more

PJ Collie Sings!
Hey everyone! PJ Collie here with some great news. I auditioned today for “Kinzville Sings!” and it went GREAT! I was a little nervous going up there, because last time I sang in front of an audience, it was at my family reunion and I was ten. I ALWAYS sing in front of my mirror and in the shower, though. So I have lots of practice! Anyway, I decided to just go for it. Why not? I’ve secretly always wanted to be a famous pop star! As soon as I started singing, I knew the judges liked me. They were smiling and kind of bopping along to my song. When I finished, they all applauded for what felt like a long time. They said I was fantastic, and that they’d be foolish not to let me continue in the competition. So I’m in! I don’t know if this is going to be a life-changing experience or just something fun to do – but whatever it is, I’m really excited!
Trip to the Big City: Who can’t go?
Well, this is just rotten. It’s Cowabelle here and I just found out that Roberta is not coming on the school trip! Can you believe it? And she’s not even upset about it! Her mom won tickets and a gift certificate to some big Baby Show that’s on that week and Roberta said she wants to go with her mom instead! Can you believe that? I think even her mother was shocked – she kept asking Roberta if she was sure, but Roberta is getting so excited about the new baby and she said could go to the Big City anytime but her mom’s not going to have a baby every day. Whatever. So I decided that since Roberta wasn’t going to come I should room with Molly instead. So I called her to tell her that and she was kind of weird about it. So I asked if she didn’t want to room with me and she said it wasn’t that. She said that both Salley and Polly had already asked if she could share a room with them and she didn’t know who to choose. I said I had the perfect solution – Salley and Polly could share … Read more
Diva Dressing Room
Hailey here with a pretty exciting dressing room makeover. Elwin and I had the challenge of taking a completely empty dressing room at the Henrietta Hippo Theater and transforming it into a room fit for a diva. In fact, it’s meant for none other than Dacey Bryn herself! Since she’s in town helping to judge “Kinzville Sings!” she needed a place to call her own. So – check it out! We designed one half to be a seating area, so if friends are visiting they’ve got a place to chill out. We also added screens so Dacey could get changed. The makeup table and lights are just perfect for a diva, and the stand of purses is Dacey’s own. When she saw the room, she said it was wonderful – hooray!
Shower Forecast
Hi, it’s me, Roberta, and I am so excited! My mom is expecting my little sister or brother (I think it is a sister!) and I’m helping her friends throw her a baby shower! I’m going to serve a baby spinach salad with baby tomatoes, and dip with baby carrots and baby corn. We are going to have a cake shaped like a giant baby bottle and we’ll be playing some fun games and holding a baby pool where everyone gets to guess the baby’s birthday and whether it will be a boy or a girl. The one who is closest wins a prize! For the invitation I am making paw print bunnies! You dip your paw (or your thumb) in colored ink, press it down on a piece paper and when it is dry, you draw ears and a face on it! I put an orange bunny on a green background and then added and orange border (because orange and green are the color of carrots!) I thought that tearing the edges of my paper looked more interesting than just cutting it with scissors. When I pasted them both … Read more
