Roberta’s Homemade Holidays – Wooden Ornament
My grandma is SO into Christmas. It’s her very favorite holiday. Each year, we visit her house and eat a TON of carrot loaf and mashed carrots and carrot cake. YUM! I wanted to make her something very special, and very Christmas-y! What you need: Wooden ornament, acrylic paint, paintbrush, dish of water (to rinse off your brush between colors), place to hang your ornament to dry What you do: Decide how you want to paint your ornament. I went with a pretty simple design that I know would work well with my grandma’s tree. She LOVES green and turquoise, so I knew I had to use lots of it! Paint your ornament carefully. Take your time and make the design gorgeous! If you’re using more than one color, or doing stripes, you might want to let the first color dry before starting the second one. When your ornament is totally done, hang it up to dry. Before you give your ornament to your recipient, tie a ribbon around the top. My grandma is going to LOVE this!

The Colorful Friends List
If you’ve been on your Friends List in Webkinz World lately, you probably noticed that it’s a bit more colorful than usual. Now you can see which Color Zone your friend is in, even if the zone is different from yours! This makes inviting a friend to your pet’s house or to play a game easier than ever! Be sure to log into Webkinz World and check out the updated Friends List today.

Check out the Message Center!
As you’ve probably noticed, we added a Message Center to your Dock in Webkinz World. Be sure to check it out, because you can do the following things there: 1. Use the Friend Finder to find a friend (and invite them to join your Friends List). You can do this by using the “Friend Finder” button on the bottom right hand side of the Message Center. You’ll see a list of possible friends and you can choose whether or not you want to add them. You can send 8 Friend Requests per day. 2. Receive requests from your friends for Challenge items. Challenge items are things a friend needs to complete a task in a Challenge. To ask a friend for an item, just use the ‘Ask Friend’ button next to a task when you’re doing a Challenge. (If you don’t want to wait for a friend to send you an item, you can just buy it from the eStore.) You can only send one request per friend each day. Remember: Challenge items don’t appear in your Dock, they only count towards the goal in your Challenge task. … Read more

The holidays are almost here, and we’ve got the perfect Challenge for you and your pet to play. You’ll be able to do all sorts of wonderful wintry things, and ask for a little help from your friends. The Happy Holidays Challenge is only available from December 7 – January 4, so make sure you get it done in time! Just visit your pet’s room and click on the Happy Holidays Challenge icon to get started!
