Can I adopt my plush pet early?
No. You must adopt your eligible plush pet on April 29, 2026 KinzTime (which is equivalent to Eastern Standard Time).
Do I need to play both games?
No. You can adopt in one game and still receive rewards.
Adopt in both games to receive both prize packs and the bonus reward.
Can I participate more than once?
Yes. Each eligible plush comes with two codes and qualifies for rewards.
Do I receive a physical prize?
No. All rewards are virtual in-game items.
When will I receive my rewards?
Gifts are awarded upon adoption in Webkinz Next. Bonus rewards will be awarded at the end of the day. Classic and Next accounts must use the same username to qualify for the bonus reward. If your accounts are not connected, go to your Next account, click on Options and the use the Create Ganz Account button. Enter your existing Classic username and password to link it to your Next account.

This would appear to benefit only a tiny number of US and Canadian players and absolutely none of those of us that live elsewhere in the world and are totally unable to purchase any of these pets. Maybe you could consider offering them as virtual pets so we could buy the Next and Classic editions of a pet to participate. I can’t afford to fly to the US and hope a shop you’ve named in some inaccessible place has a plush pet for sale that qualifies.

On the first package can u get multipul prize packages for each pet or is limit one too like the bridge prize package. tysm also do I understand the pets don’t have to be identical as long as they fall under the pets needed category? and one is entered in next and one is entered in classic and does not have to be the same pet?
Bonus gifts are per adoption. Bridge is once on your linked Classic and Next accounts (same username). As long as eligible pets are adopted on both linked accounts, you can get the Bridge. They do not have to match.
So happy I haven’t adopted the last 2 pets that I bought. Now to think of names.

What do you mean by Eligible Plush WK00017 – WK00036? Does this mean a specific New Plush. Keep a store near you can mean hours drive so I need to know.
Those are the eligible SKUs. These are pets that were released as of October 2025
Do you have to adopt both codes the same day? Can I adopt my spotted pig on CLASSIC only and still qualify the bridge and other goodies?
You must adopt a qualifying pet on both games on April 29, 2026 on linked accounts (same username) to get the bridge. The bonus gifts are per adoption.
This is so unfair for people who bought the pets during their first drops and adopted them all when they got them. these pets were expensive and we can’t afford to buy duplicates. i have all 20 of these pets so having duplicates would take up too much space too. i have been loyal to webkinz for years and this stinks. would be nice to give the prize to people who already have the eligible pets anyways.

I feel like i should also add this is super unfair to the people who buy 2 of one pet and adopt both their pets so they can spark on next. I’m guessing sparking doesn’t count towards the prize but even if it does you won’t qualify for the classic prizes and miss out.
2002hun, you can’t use both codes on one account. The codes are very different. Classic has 8 alphanumeric digits and Next have 15 alphanumeric digits.
Well…that’s nice, but there is not a single place that sells Webkinz anywhere near me. Not going to drive for hours just to find one. I have number of unused Webkinz codes and would love to use them, but…apparently I would have to purchase one of the above Webkinz Pets to be able to get the special gifts. :-/ Doesn’t seem very fair to all players. So…Webkinz “Adopt a Plush Toy” is not for every player, only those near stores that sell the new plushies. Thanks Webkinz. :-(
I agree. This is totally unfair to players (many who have played for years) who are unable to purchase the new plush because stores are too far away.
Do the Classic and Next Species that you adopt onto your linked accounts match to get the bonus bridge? For example, if I adopt the Corgi on Classic, do I have to adopt the Corgi on Next, or can I adopt the Gecko on Next and still get awarded?

Wow! Indecision for the win! I understand your dilemma, now turned into a fortunate situation. I’ve seen some players name pets after favorite show/movie characters, book characters, something descriptive about the pet, etc. (If you pick the Lord of the Rings series, or the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you have a ton of choices! LOL!) Be creative! You’ve got this! Enjoy all of your prizes, and all of your new pets!
That is one problem I don’t have, naming pets. I can name them pretty quick lol
