Yo-ho-ho, the Bathtub Battles Arcade Challenge starts TODAY—but don’t leave it to the last minute… You’ll only have until Sunday, February 14th (midnight, Eastern Standard Time), to complete it!
Here’s how to play. Starting TODAY, February 8th, look for the Bathtub Battles Arcade Challenge icon in your pet’s room. It will be displayed along the left side of the room:
Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, February 14th (EST) to earn all the prizes:
- Win 6 Games of Bathtub Battles at the Tournament Arena
- Make 20 wishes playing Wishing Well 2 at the Arcade
- Buy a Captain Dogbeard’s Sleeper from the WShop
Play Dogbeard’s Bathtub Battles at the Tournament Arena on the Webkinz desktop app and try to sink your opponent’s ships before they sink yours!
You’ll find Dogbeard’s Bathtub Battles listed under Two-Player Games at the Tournament Arena.

I’m pretty good at this game against the hosts. The special cannons are very helpful. You lose one each time a ship is sunk so you have to use them as much as possible before you can’t anymore! Also I really like the prize! It would go good in a room with this pirate ship sofa I have that I think was a collection prize?

We use a grid style search pattern.
6 games is a lot for such a short time. At least this is a game we can play against hosts so that finding an opponent will not be an issue. I wish we could play all the tournament games against hosts. Actually, I really wish we didn’t have challenges where we have to not just play but win games in the Tournament Arena. Just my personal opinion, based partly on the fact that we have multiple family members who have Webkinz accounts and one laptop that the whole family shares.

Definitely play the hosts. The only host that seems to give me trouble is Daisy Doe. Use your special shots as soon as they become available, because you never know how much longer you are going to have them once your opponent finds and takes out the corresponding ship. The special shots are useful for covering larger areas to help you to pinpoint where your opponent’s ships are and even where they aren’t located. I like the special shot that covers five spaces in an “x” pattern, and I am starting to really like the parrot that can pinpoint any ships in a 9-block square. I often lose my big random cannon first because the 5-hit ship can be easier to find, so I try to use the big cannon at least once before it’s gone, but the randomness makes can make it less helpful. To my WW friends, I already got my 6 wins, and I actually like the game, so if you see me playing in WW, challenge me to a game and I’ll be happy to help you complete this part of the challenge! Hoist the mainsail and hit the Tournament Arena!
