You may have noticed some changes in Webkinz Newz recently. These changes have been part of our effort to streamline all of our services, such as moving Webkinz World and Webkinz Newz to the Cloud. Steps like these prevent outages and improve performance, ensuring that the sites stay up no matter what. We are currently working towards bringing GanzWorld back to its roots, focusing on Webkinz Newz, Events and Contests.
One of the recent changes was the removal of the GanzWorld Arcade, a secondary Flash-based game site that generated GanzWorld Reward Moneyz. Most of these games were third-party with no support, and our efforts must be focused on preparing Webkinz World for the future.
We will soon be retiring GanzWorld Rewards, as well. When the exact date is known, we will make a follow-up announcement. We recommend spending your Moneyz at this time.

I’m very worried about the future of webkinz. I hope it doesn’t go the way of Club Penguin I hate the mobile app and don’t play. I don’t like playing games on such a small screen

I only just recently found out about the ganz rewards moneyz so sadly I don’t have very many and I’ll be sad to see it go. If anybody has money that they do not want/need maybe we could trade items or something in-game. If not that’s okay too, but I will be sad to see this feature disappear.
I wish this had been handled differently but I appreciate that additionally items were added for us to choose from.

Hmm, I get it why they got rid of the GWA, but why the rewards? You can get the rewards by entering contests and PAN and other stuff.
I have been coming to Webkinz Newz for many years and love to see what’s going on. I never paid attention (or understood) Ganzworld Rewards until about a year ago. I am sad that it is retiring, but I have gotten a lot of prizes. Back in August or September when school was starting, I remember some school prizes. Can you bring those back? I believe it was the Supreme Science Fair Desk, Ultimate Experiment Station and the science station. Not really sure about some of those. Thanks for considering.
