Curio Shop Theme Showcase: Bloomin’ Room Theme!

Arte’s Curio Shop has some amazing things, including many themes that are only stocked on his shelves! His stock changes every hour, so you’ll have to check back often to see what he has to offer! Items marked with the “Arte’s Favorites” logo are exclusive to the Curio Shop!

The Bloomin’ Room theme was first introduced in 2011 at the WShop, removed in 2013, then added back in 2014 with additional items. In 2015, even more items were added, but the whole theme was then retired to the Curio Shop (with the side table remaining permanently retired). If you ever see any of these beautiful bloomin’ pieces when visiting Arte, make sure you grow your collection by picking them up!

Put all of the pieces of this theme together and you’ll have one cleverly cultivated room!

I’m a real hoarder. I came up with this idea to make some sense of all the items I’ve collected. I separated my pets home and made a shopping mall and museum. My rooms of rare items e.g. Egyptian, Medieval, etc branch off the entry room as a museum. In the other direction I made a row of shops. Clothing, furniture, electrical and my favourite, ”Arte’s Curios”. The shopping mall has a Warehouse and a carpark. Can you see the advantage? My vast collection of treasured items are now stored in obvious places and if I need to use them I just go shopping in my own shops. Around about that I’ve placed my ”keep fit room” so I never have to search for a treadmill etc. My cafe is there with my dispensers. The toy shop is great fun. The Halloween and Christmas shops keep the seasonal stuff together at the same time as having a purpose. I later added a Town Hall and Library to keep my books and trophies and make a post office and tourist information all in one room. That then lead to a place to put my Airport and then Hotel Reception, leading to the ski resort and holiday cabin. Future plans include a Deli to store my yummy food, a beach resort off the hotel lobby and, well anything anyone else suggests.

This is one of my favourite themes. I always scoop up pieces when they’re made available, no matter how many I already have, because this theme is so versatile.

I picked up some dividers and a couple of islands yesterday. I need some rugs as well. I’m using these with the Bed of Roses bed that I picked up from the box.

I got one side table as a gift/prize a long time ago, sorry – no extras to give away…the only thing I am missing is the desk lamp…not been as diligent as others, but hoping it will pop up soon.

Wow, looks like all I’m missing is the coffee table. And maybe the kitchen island, or possibly the couch…I think? Now I’m second guessing myself. I had no idea the side table was permanently retired. Good thing it’s literally the ONLY item I got from the theme back in 2011 or so.

Some Bloomin Clothing would be lovely, don’t you think?

This is, without a doubt, one of the most enduring themes out there. I love it. Each piece is amazing. This is one of the few themes where I like to make a room with nothing but these items. But still they go with so many other items and themes in so many types of rooms and gardens.

    So pretty!

Love this sweet theme. I really wish that they would bring back ALL the retired themes and/or items, and put them back in the Room Themes in the WShop for sale using KinzCash! Arte never has enough “retired” themes and items. Mostly it’s just the same few items over and over…everyday. Have a Webkinz character open a Webkinz Antique Shop. Sell only retired room theme items for KinzCash ONLY! Arte’s shop can have WShop items that aren’t retired room theme items. We want the retired items for sale again!

I remember when I first got the Bloomin’ wallpaper. I was so excited cause I thought it was this really rare thing just because it wasn’t in the w shop. I have come so far since than.

We all have KittyXCat! I used to be afraid to help people with challenges/collection events because I thought that it would cost me money or take the item requested from my inventory. I still remember the first time I closed my eyes, scrunched up my shoulders and decided to take the plunge and click anyway. Imagine the shock, thrill and freedom when I realized how it really all works, and I can help hundreds of people per day, and all it takes is a click! What a moment for me in my WW history!

Quite true! We all have a ‘new Webkinz player’ story to tell. I don’t know how long that I was playing before I found out about the Newz page, and then it took me a while to navigate how that all worked. I had no idea about items being retired and may have missed out on some things that I could have gotten at the time. I was SO excited to find out that a few of the Football decorative items were available while ‘digging’ in the Adventure Park!
