While the Superhero theme was originally released for the WShop in 2011, it was later retired to the Curio Shop!

Will there ever be a new rare theme?
That is a good question! I haven’t thought about that before, but I would love a new rare theme!
I have a few pieces from this theme, thanks to a kind Webkinz Friend. (Thank you, bear10201) I used these items with my Space and Galaxy themed rooms. I have several Star Trek Themed rooms that I’m currently working on. I’m always looking for room items that could go with that theme and the Super Hero Theme is perfect for it. I really wish Ganz/Team Webkinz would put the Space Theme back in the WShop. It’s a pain having to wait for Arte to put the items in his shop. I also…REALLY wish they would bring back the retired pieces from the Space Theme, like the Earth Table, and the Moon Lamp. I have one Moon Lamp (Thanks to my dear friend, lammie39!) It would just be nice for newer Webkinz Players to have a chance to get these “retired items” without having to use the Trading Room. I’d rather use my KinzCash than trade.
These items do mix well don’t they! Now with the new uniforms we can have lots of outer space fun! I’ve also found that the blue, yellow and red t-shirts along with the black jeans and black boots make a fair facsimile of the original Star Trek uniforms.
I wish I could see alucard’s rooms to get some ideas. Thank you, megamom12, for the idea that regular tshirts and jeans can look like uniforms! I’m not a huge fan of Star Trek, but I’m down for cosplay anytime anywhere! If I figured out some themed rooms inspired by other series, the first things I’d want to make would be related to Pokemon or Gravity Falls–especially because my newest pet is named after my favorite Pokemon Trainer.

My reply to megamom12 and AcanineEspeon: AcanineEspeon, I wish I could show you my Star Trek Rooms, and my Harry Potter Rooms, and my Lord of The Rings/The Hobbit Rooms. I have enjoy trying to create rooms using my favorite movies. It’s kind of hard to find all the “perfect” pieces to use, but I have found that I can usually make it work using WShop furniture. Of course, the eShop has some excellent items, some of which I do buy to use, but I try to use as many WShop and Curio Shop items as possible. I will try to send a picture to Webkinz Newz sometime soon. Hopefully they will show it. And……Megamom, I do use the blue, yellow, and red t-shirts with the black jeans and black boots for my Star Trek uniforms. Glad to know I’m not the only one to do that. Ha! Would love to see your Star Trek Rooms! My user name is farout1. :-)
I would really love to see your Harry Potter rooms and LOTR rooms, @alucard! I am working on my own. If I ever finish them, I will send them in to Michael Webkinz. Do you have a Harry Potter pet? I have a himalayan for Hermione, a golden lion tamarin for Ron, and a warthog for Hagrid, but I haven’t decided on a “Harry” yet. I really want to get a plushie, maybe an otter or something, so it can sit on the shelf with the others. I like the idea that you and megamom12 have for your Star Trek characters. I hope that you get the opportunity to share your movie rooms right here on WKN!

Hey hey if you type victorian garden into the search feature (orange box at top of the page) it will pull up the page just like this one for the hero theme. There are 2 estore items that I must now add to my list, I never knew they existed. You should try coming over to the forums trading and list what you need in the “I need this item” or “my want list” topic. Lots of friendly folks there willing to help. I’ll be there later this afternoon checking out posts, headed out to do some errands right now. I have lots of this theme plus many more. The posts there do not moderate as fast as they do here, so don’t be worried if you don’t see it right away. :)
The Captured Criminal is shown in the room but it is missing from the picture list of items. It’s a pretty cool piece – your pet sits on one side and is magically captured inside the other half. Is it still available at Arte’s? I have not seen in for a very long time. Was the RoboKinz Guardian ever animated or did it always just sit there not doing anything?

Thanks for the info – I didn’t realize it was a rare item, separate from the rest of the theme. Hopefully, Arte will soon feature it as the Rare of the Day.

I’m not real sure when they added the chamber to the theme. I’ve run across it a couple of times, so it’s probably more common (of the rares???) than the beds of the rare themes. Some of those I have never even seen in the Curio Shop.

I’ve been watching for the criminal chamber since October 2019. Still haven’t seen it. I have the rest, and have been trying to justify the costumes.

I’d tried a couple times to use this theme and never liked the results. But now I finally built a room I really like with some items from this theme along with others. I love the holographic globe, the guardian, the laser helmet and shield displays. I’ll have to keep an eye out for the other displays cause I might just expand into a second room. I thought there was a capture chamber? I remember there being one. I’d love to have that. I also want the wraparound chamber.
Those costumes look fantastic by the Holographic Globe. And the Dame Dash hair would look good on any pet!
