    The exe file won’t respond and after the error windows appear it automatically deletes the file, please help. I have been having problems installing it since last year, but now it’s worse. What can I do?

      Do you have a particularly aggressive anti-virus software? Windows alone won’t spontaneously delete files, but if your anti-virus thinks it’s a virus, it might be removing it. I’ve heard of individuals with McAfee having a similar issue. You’ll have to find some way to get your antivirus software to mark it as safe.

        Sally, why on my new webkinz game (the new download), did I get a note that said “adobe flash player is running slow………”. I didn’t think flash player had anything to do with the new system?

          Webkinz the game is still Flash-based. That has not changed. The Desktop App simply removes the need for Flash Player, which is a separate plug-in.

            That is because McAfee is trash. That may well be your problem right there Crantz. Sally is right about looking into checking if it’s your anti-virus software.

            Hi Sally….I AM on the Desktop App. So getting a note about adobe running slow is not an issue as that is different than “flash player”?

            Correct. Webkinz, the game, is written in Flash. Flash Player, the plug-in, is what browsers are discontinuing support for. The Desktop App removes the need for the plug-in, but the game is still a Flash game.

            Hi Sally. Is that the reason W3bkinz won’t work,on my Song smart tv. It is brand new answers I even bought a Fire Stick hoping that would work. But no luck so far.

            The Desktop App requires a computer. It’s not compatible with smart tvs or other devices

        Hi Sally, thanks for your reply. It’s not my antivirus and I don’t have McAfee. On my antivirus everything is allowed for the installation. The message comes from windows, it says “the parameter is not correct” and after several tries, it automatically deletes the file. I had to download 3 different browsers until I found one that still supports flash by downloading the flashplayer, but it will also stop working at the end of December. I’ve tried so many times already. I don’t know what’s the problem. Could you please give me an email where I can ask for more specific tech help? Have a good day.

    Hi today the plug doesn’t work online to log in to my webkinz account and I can’t execute the desktop file to install it, the message or error doesn’t even come from my antivirus but from my windows system itself, it says the parameter is not correct, I’ve teied many times and I can’t install it, could someone help me, please. I will miss the Christmas tree if I don’t log in, but I just can’t.

    Pretty Tree. Reminds me of the one I used to have from buying the Webkinz ornaments back in the day. :) I am having trouble getting into the clubhouse. Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble as well?
