We had so many incredible submissions to our Medallion Pet Design Contest on Share Center! Thank you to everyone who entered – we have an incredibly talented community!
After going through all of the amazing submissions, we have selected the ten pets that we think could make a great Medallion Pet.
The winning pet design will be made into a virtual pet in Webkinz World, and released in April during the lead-up to Webkinz Day. The winner will also receive a Pet Design Trophy and 10 Any Pet Medallions, and all ten finalists will each receive a Merry Moonbeam Stocking Giftbox!
While the final decision on the winning pet is up to the Creative Team at Webkinz, we want to hear what you think about the finalists. Let us know in the comments below which pet you like best! After we have had a chance to consider your feedback, the winner will be announced on Friday, January 11.

I am totally jealous for those who got picked. Don’t get me wrong, they are all AMAZING, but like the rest who didn’t get picked, I was hoping to be chosen. LOL Now, since my moment of honesty is out of the way… I like the pets that are more unique, like the Kiwi, Tapir, Secretary Bird, and especially the Mole. I have been wanting/needing a mole for a while now. His name has already been chosen. So, my vote goes to the Mole. :) Best of luck to all the finalists. I think we would all be lucky to have any (or all) of these pets added to the world of Webkinz!

Well, since the Tropical Hamster isn’t a choice ;) I’ll have to say my faves here are the tapir, the mole, and the kiwi. That cookie dough is pretty clever though! ( I still think an aye-aye would make a perfect Halloween pet!) Good luck everyone, you all deserve to be finalists!! Any one of these would make a great pet.
The cutest one here is the Kiwi bird. I love it and hope this one is the winner.
Besides the air fawn (which is my favorite) I’m hoping the winner is not a “recolor” of a previous template. Don’t get me wrong I love all the finalists, but all of the other medallion-exclusive pets have been template recolors. I want another pet that’s like the Axolotl- something we haven’t seen before, like the Tapir, the kiwi, the mole, or the Secretary Bird. (Secretary birds are so cool!)
I love all of these. After this one, can you stop making Pet Medallions… it is already too hard to collect enough of one to get enough to adopt one. The more there are, the harder it will be to get the ones we want. Thanks for considering this.
I love the air fawn! i really hope it wins because i really want it now! the aurora tiger is also awesome, along with the cookie doe and toasted coconut pup! Looks like we’ve got some talented artists in the webkinz community!
