We are excited to announce a new pet design contest! We would like you to design a new pet that will be sold by Ganz eStore starting on Webkinz Day – April 29, 2020!
Here’s how it works:
Between January 1 and 31, design a pet that you think would make a great addition to Webkinz World! It can be any kind of pet you like! You can use one of the templates provided below or you can create your own drawing. You can enter as many times as you like!
You can use any kind of art supplies that you want – markers, pencil crayons, crayons, or other art materials. While we will not accept images that have computer generated patterns or graphics copied and added to them, participants may use programs like Paint or Photoshop to color and draw freehand. We can’t accept submissions with company logos or sports team emblems. Please make sure you save your images as a jpg, gif, or png.
You don’t need to include a suggestion for the pet’s PSI and PSF but you can if you want!
Submit your drawing to the 2020 Pet Gallery in the Share Center by January 31, 2020.
Wait until February 7, 2020 to see if your design is one of the 10 finalists.
The winner will have their design turned into a real virtual pet in Webkinz World and they will receive a code for their pet when it is added to Webkinz World. They will also receive a 1 Month Deluxe Membership to Webkinz, a virtual Pet Design Trophy, and all ten finalists will each receive a 6 pack of 2020 Winterfest Cookies, courtesy of Ganz eStore.

If you aren’t from USA or Canada you will be desqualified. Your images will be posted in the gallery, but you can not be a finalist, so you can not win.

Some countries have very strict laws about this, so the Webkinz Team can’t do much about it, sadly. But I love your octopus design, it is adorable!

That’s what they wrote in full contest rules, if you aren’t from Canada or USA you are disqualified. You can see your images in the gallery, but you are disqualified.

Aww, don’t worry about any votes. People vote them down just so theirs looks better it seems. Your designs are awesome I guarantee! They all seem to be that I’ve seen! :)
Yeah, unfortunately there is someone who votes all their own images a 10 while actively voting all other images 1′s multiple times… When one of my designs (a salamander) was put up it was given two 1-star ratings almost immediately :/ The rating system is kind of meaningless. But they don’t choose finalists based on ratings anyways, so don’t worry :)
Unfortunately, some people just vote down any entries that aren’t their own :/ I personally thought your designs were great, Lollipup, and I voted them all up (some more than once!) :)

Some people are just like that, even on Webkinz sadly. I personally love your designs, quilts and pets that I have seen thus far, and I always give them a ten, because I honestly think that they are just lovely!

Yes, they just need to be moderated! I don’t think I’ve gotten any emails saying that they were checked, but I check my share center frequently!
what does moderated mean?
Moderated just means that your entry was checked and deemed ‘safe’ and the picture was posted on the Share Center. Hope that helps :)

I was just wondering how long to wait for the email before contacting Webkinz? It’s been about 4 days since I submitted several and no email yet.
Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about the email. I’ve never gotten one saying it was successful, the only ones that have come are the ones saying it couldn’t be submitted and sometimes even those don’t show up. Oh, and @flyinghorse3, glad I could help! Let me know if you have any more questions :)
