We are excited to announce a new pet design contest! We would like you to design a new pet that will be sold by Ganz eStore starting on Webkinz Day – April 29, 2020!
Here’s how it works:
Between January 1 and 31, design a pet that you think would make a great addition to Webkinz World! It can be any kind of pet you like! You can use one of the templates provided below or you can create your own drawing. You can enter as many times as you like!
You can use any kind of art supplies that you want – markers, pencil crayons, crayons, or other art materials. While we will not accept images that have computer generated patterns or graphics copied and added to them, participants may use programs like Paint or Photoshop to color and draw freehand. We can’t accept submissions with company logos or sports team emblems. Please make sure you save your images as a jpg, gif, or png.
You don’t need to include a suggestion for the pet’s PSI and PSF but you can if you want!
Submit your drawing to the 2020 Pet Gallery in the Share Center by January 31, 2020.
Wait until February 7, 2020 to see if your design is one of the 10 finalists.
The winner will have their design turned into a real virtual pet in Webkinz World and they will receive a code for their pet when it is added to Webkinz World. They will also receive a 1 Month Deluxe Membership to Webkinz, a virtual Pet Design Trophy, and all ten finalists will each receive a 6 pack of 2020 Winterfest Cookies, courtesy of Ganz eStore.

@szivarvany5 – Have you been contacted yet that your submssions for Design a New Webkinz Pet were approved? I’m curious to know when you submitted your entries did you receive an email from GanzWorld stating your submission are being moderated? I’m starting to get really worried, I submitted my entry around 5:15 pm the final day I still have not received any emails. I will be disappointed if my pet design was not entered. I put a lot of work and hours into it. :(
I do not think that they contact people that often, from what I have seen on other comments. As to when I submitted them, it was about 8-8:30 pm, I believe. And sometimes, it takes a few days for all the entries to be moderated. So I would wait a couple more days, and them e-mail the Ganz support team. Don`t worry, they will sort everything out, Webkinz`s customer service is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They are always so courteous! Sally Webkinz Could you please do me a favor and check to see if my Design A Pet entry was submitted. I called it WW Adoptiversary Dog. I submitted it around 5:15 pm Friday January 31st but I just checked my email I still have not received an email. There may have been a glitch the first time I was trying to enter I filled all the relevant information out and the form disappeared before I could submit. I filled out the form again I was able to submit it, it said that I had submitted successfully, that was around 5:15 but I was not sent an email. Has this changed are emails not longer being sent when entering Share Center contest? Could you please check into this and reply. Thanks :}

Well, I did it, I submitted four designs! I hope everyone likes them, and that they make people smile. Last time I submitted them a couple hours before midnight, so at least I did it with several hours more to spare tonight! Good luck to all on Webkinz who submitted, I wish everyone could win, for I love so many of your ideas! I hope the community will vote fairly on others` drawings, it is so sad to see an unfair rating, nobody should feel unhappy because of this. Oh! I just came up with a splendid idea. I must go an get busy designing my pet. I need to submit it before midnight, to be eligible for the contest. Good Luck to everyone that has entered the contest. :}
In the case of two or more people submitting the same pet idea, would they both/all get the prize, or the person who submitted it first?
Probably the person who submitted it first, because in that situation it sounds like one is copying the other…
The tagging system should be more involved in the gallery. When submitting, you’re only given the tag “pet.” Maybe for future contests like this, have additional tags for the species/type of pet? (Cat, dog, bear, aquatic, flying, etc.) It would make it easier to find your own submissions and see if anyone’s already submitted something similar.

OK, I’m sorry, I made mine a cat mermaid but then I realized two other people had done that. so sorry.
I think they will choose based on the design. Lots of people can have similar ideas; it doesn’t mean someone copied another person nor would it be fair to accuse someone of it. Similar ideas will still result in unique designs.

Try going to the Share Center. Once you’re inside, scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the design a webkinz tab. Then, scroll down to the bottom of the page again and touch the tab that says all, and select my images. If they’ve been reviewed, they should be there.
Just finished up strolling through the gallery at the Share Center. So many great ideas and artistic design. Really enjoyed looking and thinking about what a great community this is.
I’ve been scrolling through too. Such AWESOME designs! It would be so cool to be a finalist, but I’m just excited to see what they are in general, whether I’m one or not
Right, it’s fun to submit your own but I never have any expectations. And of course everyone can’t win, but still super fun to view each and every submission :)
