Happy New Year! A new year calls for a new pet design contest! We would like you to design a new Webkinz Classic pet that will be sold by Ganz eStore starting on Webkinz Day – April 29, 2021!
Here’s how it works:
Between January 1 and 31, design a pet that you think would make a great addition to Webkinz World! It can be any kind of pet you like! You can use one of the templates provided below or you can create your own drawing. You can enter as many times as you like!
You can use any kind of art supplies that you want – markers, pencil crayons, crayons, or other art materials. While we will not accept images that have computer generated patterns or graphics copied and added to them, participants may use programs like Paint or Photoshop to color and draw freehand. We can’t accept submissions with company logos or sports team emblems. Please make sure you save your images as a jpg, gif, or png.
You don’t need to include a suggestion for the pet’s PSI and PSF but you can if you want!
Submit your drawing to the Pet Design 2021 Gallery in the Share Center by January 31, 2021.
Wait until February 7, 2021 to see if your design is one of the 10 finalists.
The winner will have their design turned into a real virtual pet in Webkinz World and they will receive a code for their pet when it is added to Webkinz World. They will also receive a 1 Month Deluxe Membership to Webkinz, a virtual Pet Design Trophy, and all ten finalists will each receive a 6 pack of 2021 Winterfest Cookies, courtesy of Ganz eStore.

I know moderating takes a while and there is no moderation on weekends, but I was wondering if I was supposed to get an email just for submitting each pet? I don’t remember if I got an email every time I submitted a pet last year or if it was just each time one got moderated. Twice after submitting different pets my computer gave me an error message but Share Center said Success (I did submit 5 pets just now), that makes me a bit nervous. I would like to avoid trying to submit accidental duplicates because the deadline is tomorrow, is there any way I can know if my submissions got through correctly for moderation, please let me know and thank you! I’ve submitted mine three times. Twice 2 days ago and again several hours ago and I never got a comformation email nor have I seen up. Can I at least get what is wrong with my submission so I can at least fix it? Its literally just a pit bull.
A lot of people are having that same exact problem including me it’s been 10 days for my 2 but we think the problem is just that there are so many submissions that they don’t have enough moderators to moderate them all but I’m sure they will get them all on there…I think….scroll down and you can see the other conversations about this problem.
Webkinz, what’s going on??? Why are NOBODY’S designs getting submit? Do you only do it on the weekends or something? But my Rainbow Kitty was put on the share center Wednesday. Please respond and tell us why! Everyone is getting so worried!! Is there something wrong with the system?? I submitted 2 drawings and am about to submit one today.
Hi i think i might know what is going on… so this was a problem for me too but i think i fingered it out so if you are not able to see images here is possible why. when you are in the share center you have to be logged in with your webkinz newz log in to be able to see your images. I hope this helps:D
I know. I have been. I entered fan art and this same contest last year so I see my old ones aswell, but when I go scrolling through both aren’t submitted..D:
Hi! I had to wait 6 days for my 3 images to be moderated. I submitted 2 more and I expect to wait for at least 2 days. I think that they have a huge number of submissions and not enough moderators to moderate all of them. I’m kind of worried about my submissions not being moderated in time for the 31st but I’m sure that they will look at all the submissions that were submitted before the 31st. I hope I could help you because I was in this same situation not to long ago.
Yeah…thanks. That’s prob what happened..at least hope. I’m still worried, but thanks for kinda cheerin’ me up actually.. I found a lot more uploads though yesterday so I’m hoping they will find ours! If I see any of yours, I’ll vote 10! I just submitted a new drawing though so I prob should stop lol. I realized all my ideas are related to food. Oof. :)

I submitted 1 design on the 21st and 2 on the 22nd and I can’t see them either? Is anyone else having this problem?

I am having the exact same problem! I’m making another drawing now. For me the last drawing is the Wildlife bear so maybe everyone is having this problem? (It was put on share center the 21st!)
I have that problem too. I have been trying to submit my last drawing for a couple weeks now because it said no image found. When I asked Sally what I should do, she said to resize it or reverse the file type. I did that and I sent it about a week ago and didn’t get a reply yet. I hope that all of our drawings get submitted soon.
Especially with the deadline coming closer and closer, I’m getting a little nervous. I do hope that all our entries get submitted. I’ll resubmit later today if I still don’t see them, just to have tried something at all.

I’ve submitted my designs today! Keep your eyes peeled for an adorable shepsky and a shy little ili pica! Like the vaquita, the ili pica is an amazing but sadly endangered animal. I figured they deserved a moment in the limelight too!
