Dear Fiona Fiona, I just got the brand-new Christmas Cabin Theme, including the bunk bed! I was so excited to get my first bunk bed, but for some reason, only one of my pets can sleep on it even though it says in the WShop that 2 pets can sleep on it. If I have one pet on the bottom bunk and try to get my second pet on it, it just switches pets! Is there a way both my pets can sleep on the bunk bed? Thanks a million, Princessunicorn
Oh dear, that’s a pickle. But I’m happy to let you know that this was found (and fixed!), but not in time for maintenance. Your pets will be happily bunking together after the next update on December 19.

Sorry, MariaGlow, but I’ve got no money to give you! If penguins are your favorite, you’ll be happy to hear that the Penguin will be available as one of the free pets to adopt for new accounts for a little while, starting December 19. If you already have a Webkinz World account, I’d suggest working towards earning a free Baby Penguin by collecting Baby Penguin Pet Medallions!
Dear Fiona, I was wondering what other ways to earn pet medallions will be added in the future and when will more pets will be added? I really like that we can get medallions as a log-in gift, through playing games, through the floaty-clicky, in a giftbox each month if we’re deluxe, and now on the Wheel of Wow. I’m just hoping more ways are yet to be added so we can get a medallion pet sooner. I have a suggestion that maybe during holidays everyone could be awarded a pet medallion giftbox (like the one Deluxe get) and that maybe pet medallions could be added to balloon darts or the prize claw.
Thanks for your question, WebkinzFanCEG. There probably won’t be any huge number of new pets added any time soon, though you might see the odd special one here and there. (There is a contest to design a Medallion Pet right now, actually!) We still have plans to add more ways to earn Medallions — some of you may have even seen some in the Mystery Prizes on the Today’s Activities page! Feathers crossed, there will be even more ways to earn after the next maintenance on December 19!

Dear Fiona, Will we ever be able to delete rooms? Just wondering because I have some rooms I want to get rid of.
Can anyone tell me what year the way that our gardens grow changed? We used to have to hoe and water and such. I was just curious if anyone remembered.
I think the switch was in 2015 with Webkinz X (or around that time).
The gardens all changed with the introduction of Webkinz X in 2015. I don’t miss having to hoe and water the plants, but I do miss that the tomatoes and carrots and strawberries would yield multiples every harvest instead of just one.
That was part of the Great Trauma and Disaster known as Webkinz X, so 2015. That’s actually about the only change I don’t hate. So glad that’s gone, now if they’d get rid of the annoying pop up about the item you just harvested every. single. time. And program some sort of mass harvester….
Before Webkinz X you had to maintain the garden but after the big update many things changed and that was one of them
Hi, westsidefitness–I don’t recall the year, but it was with the change to Webkinz X. Initially the plan was to change back to the original gardening, with the raking and weeding and watering…but I guess this is just the way the gardens will be from now on.
I believe that was during Webkinz X which would have been in 2015.
I don’t miss having to rake and water and such. For large gardens it was overwhelming. I love filling my pets’ hearts but I do not like how they make constant demands. It takes away from their personalities and is so very annoying. It’s a big distraction. A demand here and there I wouldn’t mind, but oh. my. gosh. did they think kids would actually enjoy this?

You could probably watch the show by entering your pet in an open race at the Webkinz Stadium and using the working TV in the Ready Room as well. :)
Hi Fiona! I have a suggestion about rooms. Like many Webkinz players, I have multiple rooms in my Webkinz house and have doors to get to each one. However, all of the doors are white and they seem to have gray flooring to get to the room. Are there any plans in the future for possibly changing the colors of the doors and pathways to other rooms?

I have a suggestion for how to add a way to earn pet medallions into the game – Make them a prize in one of the pop a balloon dart games
That is a great idea! Also, the prize claw game could have a medallion as a prize.
Oh yes! That would make the prize claw waaaaay more popular. (sometimes I skip it currently, but that would be a must on my list if there were medallions there!)
Fiona, for some reason I can’t play the arcade games that require the arrow keys…they just don’t work! My arrow keys work perfectly fine elsewhere though so what do you suggest? I’ve been stuck on a challenge that requires me to get kinzcash in Color Storm for a long time
Hi Nicthewerecatqueen – try playing Webkinz in a different browser. I get the arrow/game play issue on chrome sometimes, but plays ok on firefox

Hi Fiona! First of all, I want to say how grateful I am now that we can move rooms around! It must have taken a lot of hard work. My question is about the next big project that you guys are working on. Is it possible that one day we will be able to rename our webkinz? It’s also something that people have been asking about for a while. And I know these things don’t happen overnight but can you give us a hint if there are plans for it in the future? Yes! I want to be able to rename Webkinz, too. Not being able to has actually made me not want to buy new ones, because I see a pet and think, “Oh, I wish I had known about that one before I named a different animal this name that would be perfect for that one!” I don’t want two pets by the same name, so I just stick with what I have. Also, I have seen a player in the park with a pet that has a very bad, inappropriate name, and I think they should have the option to do the right thing and change the pet’s name to something nice.
