There’s good news and bad news. The Mermazing Hippo was able to dive down and find the recipes, but they were so water-damaged the hippo couldn’t read them!
Now Sophie and the hippo are in a race against time to solve the recipes and get them to the W Shop so they can be added to the Adventure Scout Cookbook with the next Webkinz Classic update!
Sophie and the hippo have headed over to the Adventure Scout Camp Kitchen where the scouts originally developed the new recipes. The hippo knows that each recipe contains Adventure Scout Trail Mix, but what else? The ingredients must still be in the kitchen, right?
Visit the kitchen below right here on Webkinz Newz every day from January 14 to 19 to figure out the other ingredients in the three recipes. There are clues all around the kitchen. I missed the free moonberry yesterday :(
Me too! This article didn’t get posted at midnight on the 14 but probably at 9 or so in the morning – so those of us who are on (and then off) early in the day missed it. Glad I caught it yesterday though!
Okay, I got a pickleberry today, no matter where I clicked. So is each day going to provide a different ingredient in the recipes (except for the trail mix)? I can buy the other ingredients (no offense). I would rather just keep receiving moonberries and pickleberries. Hopefully that will be how it goes when I click the picture tomorrow. *fingers crossed*
I suspect that seeing as we got the Moonberry yesterday and the Pickleberry today, that we will get another Pickleberry tomorrow as we need 1 Moonberry and 2 Pickleberries to make one each of the new ‘recipes’. I suppose that we will have to wait and see.
Thanks for the moonberry! I love the fun little game- even if I think I know the outcome, I’m sure you guys are always working and there could be a surprise twist! Plus, this makes it so much more fun!
i tried the recipes ,,…none of them worked..all i got was gak……
If you’re getting Gak, you’re using a blender. These are stove recipes.

The recipes have already been given to us in the Winterfest news article – I appreciate the free moonberry I just got.
Free moonberries are ALWAYS a good thing!! Please stop posting the recipes in articles since you are doing this cute story line. I was so confused when I saw Sophie listing the new recipes again, and I had to check back through the articles to make sure that I didn’t miss the resolution to the problem of the recipes being in the icy water. The articles seem to be running concurrently, making it a little confusing to follow this story. It’s okay to help us learn to be patient. We can all wait until the update on January 20th. In the meantime, thanks for the opportunity for free ingredients!

I was confused, too! Three different articles that look so similar, and say mostly the same thing, is VERY confusing! I was on Webkinz Newz yesterday and did NOT see this article about getting something for the new recipes, so I missed out on getting a Moonberry. I love these creative games on Webkinz Newz! I love the community games the best. But…I do NOT like having to use even one of my berries from Jumbleberry Fields, especially a Moonberry. Sorry I missed out on getting a precious Moonberry, but I still would not have used it for a recipe. Loved getting the Pickleberry, so I might use that one for a recipe. This article here should be posted in that new tab thing at the top of the main page. It’s hard to follow this whole story line.
