Hi Webkinz! I really like both Webkinz games, but I noticed than in Webkinz Next, there was a gray cat in the adoption center a few days ago. I was going to buy it, but before I could get the chance it was gone the next day! Then, the bunny came to Next (it’s very cute by the way), but I’m still wondering what happened to the cat! Will it be returning? Thank you so much!

Hi Sally Webkinz I have a question is that a baby bunny? If it’s a baby bunny I can’t wait to buy it in the W Shop and I’ll name it Holly or Jolly if I have enough of Estore points and I am hoping it will be in W Shop
The Holland Lop Bunny is not a baby, no, but does come with Sparks, so baby bunnies do exist. It is not available in the W Shop for eStore points — it is available in the Adoption Center in Webkinz Next for Diamonds
This Holland Lop bunny is very cute, and I think Clover would make a nice name. Someday when I am able to play on Webkinz Next, it would be wonderful if there would be 3 different types of bunnies and I could name them Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail. Or I could have them be the babies. If you combine sparks from pets, can you guarantee the species of the babies? For instance if I owned two bunnies, and combined their sparks, would I just get different bunnies with a variety of traits, or is the whole thing random? Please let me know if you know.
No, there’s no guarantees when combining sparks. If you combine two of the same kind of pet, you’ll either get a baby of that pet type or one of the special super rares that let you purchase a plush. If you combine two different types of pets, the baby will be one type or the other (or the super rare/plush dealie). The baby inherits traits from both parents (coloring, or pet patch, or things like horns, etc), and there are also some random elements that can result in very unique babies, such as wildly different colors, patterns, etc. There’s no way to control any of these things.
Are there still Rares available to buy?? I thought there were just 1000 & 150 of the puppies and unicorns respectively… And if you get one of the specials, is it true those don’t have sparks? I have thought it would be kind of cool as the game is developed to be able to have a list of maybe 10 things that you really want for your baby pet to have…i.e. I would pick that aqua color, or for my baby kitten to have a unicorn horn…I take print screens of the baby features I really love just in case we ever get to pick something we would really want. :)
Just last night I had saved up enough diamonds to combine my sparks from my unicorn and husky and made a special super rare. I was so surprised that they were still available! I placed an order for the plush :)
I adopted mine yesterday! I found a glitch, the bunny isn’t as animated as the other webkinz. It just sits in the corner and smiles.

Super super adorable. I looked at all the new babies yesterday and most of them had the bunny- I LOVE the traits it gives, especially one of the rare ones, a pretty pastel watercolor fur. If I got one I’d probably name her Hester (Lee Scoresby’s daemon, though technically she’s a hare not a bunny :p)
