The Lucky Coin event starts today (March 9th) and runs until March 17th. Here’s how to play: Look for the floating coin box in Webkinz World and click on it to get a coin (limited to 5 coins per day, 7 for Deluxe players):
There are 10 coins to collect. 6 of the coins are Chocolate Colored Jelly Coins that can be fed to your pet. The other 4 coins are special KinzCash collector coins featuring Lucky the Leprechaun!
Make sure you log into Webkinz World on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) to get a special item that you can use to store your Lucky Coins.

Today is March 12–I haven’t found ANY floating coin boxes!!! No ad yesterday, no floaters today. What is going on???
So, I’m not sure what’s going on, but I can’t seem to find any boxes today… or the add for the couch; I didn’t find it yesterday either… I’m thinking that there might be a glitch in the system this year with the St. Patty’s Day prizes…
Very fun event though as ginnylea mentioned there is an issue with the coins being glitchy. My daughter received a emerald coin and it disappeared from her inventory. It caused the browser to freeze and she had to close out the browser. When she logged back in – it was not there. The other day she got an empty box? I asked her more details and she said it just had nothing in the window and nothing in her dock. Weird…. Please check on it and see if you can fix this problem. Thanks!
