Once again we had a fantastic response to our pet design contest! So good in fact, that it took us a little longer to select the finalists than we originally anticipated.
Of course it’s always difficult to narrow down the list to just 10 finalists. When looking at your entries, we try to judge not necessarily on artistic skill but on which pets would make a great addition to Webkinz Classic. Having said that, we do want to give a shout out to MMTaffyM who took the extra step of creating a plush version of their pet!
Now that we have made our selections, we want to hear from you! From February 15 to 17, visit the Contest page in Webkinz Newz to cast your vote for your favorite design.
We’ll announce the winning pet on Friday, February 19, 2021!

These are all such great designs! My personal favorite is the Tasmanian devil, but I love the wolverine, Brazilian porcupine, and capybara as well. So hard to choose!

When my cat does his pouty-sassy face, he looks exactly like a little capybara. I would Love to see one walking around webkinz world, and they get along so well with others! CAPYBARA! CAPYBARA!
I can see there is a need of getting more species in, and I love that!! Nothing against all the different puppies/cats and candied pets, but it’s good we can learn so much more by having these new designed pets. Definitely something to consider for the future. I actually looked up these animals.
I hope the bubblegum alpaca wins!! There’s no alpaca in webkinz and I definitely prefer bright pets to natural colored pets
There is a Webkinz alpaca but it is natural colors, same as the llama, the two-toned llama, the camel, the curly camel, and the signature wild Bactrian camel plush, they also have natural colors. The candy apple camel however does have bright colors as it has pink-red as its main color.
