I’m just going to be honest. I don’t know why I have a webkinz about anymore. They never update their items that can be bought with kinzcash, but they continuously come out with items that you need to have estore points for. I miss when webkinz was about fun, and now all they want is money. I’d like to make sure rooms without spending 100+ dollars for enough estore points to buy me 3 things.
I used to be annoyed about how much eStore stuff they made, too. But it’s those sorts of things that are the reason for this website’s longevity. I remember when there were much more fun virtual worlds around on the Web than there are now, but Webkinz is the only one from the “virtual world craze” that’s managed to survive, and they wouldn’t have been able to do it without finding ways to bring in money (something that the virtual worlds of years gone by were not successful at, which is why they are no longer around…e.g. Bearville).
I sympathize, lilyrose0, I’d love to make some more expensive rooms but haven’t been able to buy estore points in a year. Putting 2 kids thru school eats it all. Still, you can do some really creative & cool things with Wshop items, prizes & giveaway items. Most of my estore things were gifts from ganz!
