I was on vacation when this video of room designs first appeared, so am just seeing it now, almost a month later. Unfortunately, my comments will probably not be seen by anyone, but I wanted to say “thank you” to all the Webkinz folks who had such lovely things to say about my “Study in Grey”. I had a wonderful time designing this room and am so appreciative to all of you who liked it too.

Talk about saving best for last! Gappytoo, I have seen monochromatic schemes before, but this one is truly awesome. I had to freeze frame the video to take it all in. The coloured outdoors you can see from the tall window view gives it a hauntingly melancholy quality. I have a few framed B&W prints that would work so nicely on those walls, too. I can think of a few items that would compare colorwise. But the room would lose its essence if it was in color. I have seen the contributors work many times and it always amazes me how well they place their items. Nash, your work is really beginning to shine! That tranquil forest room is so nicely done! Very artistic! Nattie, I had been wondering how to use my Half-pipe in a room without it overwhelming and you did a fantastic job! Super catch on the screenshot with the pet! How many times did you have to do that to get the perfect sport shot? Laina’s Wedding room brings the ‘Sparkle like Markle’ to the Kinz who were unable to attend. Very cute tribute. That Art retreat was really unique. I can see that place being very therapeutic. What a bright fun room. Lots of fantastic room ideas, gives an overcrowded dock a real workout :)

Gappytoo’s Study in Grey should be framed and for us to buy in the WShop!

Wow, these rooms are truly amazing, and such an inspiration for me when I think about designing a new room- congratulations on being featured. Gappytoo’s Study in Grey is brilliant- what a creative concept!

Great rooms. Mining for Gems is my favorite.

Wow, the black and grey room is fabulous! That must have been difficult to find tone on tone that coordinated! I think being able to see the color through the door adds to the fact this wasn’t B&W manipulated through Photoshop. The use of the Rockerz flooring and the deluxe chandeliers was really creative!

Fantastic room designs today! Congratulations to all the talented designers, and thanks for having Mike as a special guest. His input about the rooms was a fun treat. Gappytoo, your Study in Grey is amazing! It must have taken a long time to put that room together. Nash, your Tranquil Rain Forest is such a work of art. Your use of scale to create the scene is so spot on. I want to go there! Laina, like Mandy your room reminded me of the recent royal wedding and is just beautiful. Great job everyone!
