I’m so excited for the new 2020 deluxe boxes! I wish there was a wallpaper to go with it though.

As excited as I was to get deluxe membership on my own account today, and so happy to finally get the magical forest slide, I want the new deluxe item so bad too. It’s really beautiful and love that wallpaper and flooring!

I am SO looking forward to Christmas this year!

Totally think that tying the wallpaper to buying a Deluxe membership isn’t cool.

Not just deluxe membership, but a one year purchase of a deluxe membership. If you pay for deluxe month to month, you don’t get the extra super deluxe item. They usually have a free pet included as well.

Great podkinz, thanks for all the info! And thank you for finally giving a new theme in the deluxe boxes, happy dance! So excited, can’t wait :D

Sally Webkinz…I’m really confused. I have Auto-Renewal for my two Deluxe Accounts, but it seems I won’t be able to get this new Deluxe prize unless I cancel my Auto-Renewal, then purchase a new Deluxe Membership again. Is that right? It seems to me that you would want all Deluxe Members, both new and those that are already members, to get the new prize at the beginning of the new year. I mean, why even have “Auto-Renewal” if your only going to make Deluxe Members go to so much trouble to get the new prize? I’m sorry, I really don’t understand the logic here. I want to remain a Deluxe Member on two accounts, but I am confused as to why I have to stop “Auto-Renew”, then become a “new Deluxe Member” all over again. Could this not be made easier? I’m sorry if I sound stupid, but I really just don’t get the logic of all this. :-(

Personally I think auto-renew is the devil and it frankly terrifies me. Always paranoid I will miss canning one, and that will end in financial tragedy. My upcoming deluxe issue is that I have an account that has been deluxe almost since deluxe became a Thing, and the expiration on it has drifted over the years, even though I renew promptly. Either this year or next year that account is going to hit a very unfortunate moment where my membership will expire in one year and the system won’t let me renew until the next year, which means I will miss out on a Deluxe Gift. There really needs to be a way to purchase previous gifts from eStore, even just once a year. Or else make those trade-able.

Hi, alucard! Don’t worry– it’s not a stupid question or concern! In fact, I’ve wondered the same thing before. I used to have my deluxe account on ‘auto-renew’ since I thought it would save me the trouble of going to the estore every year to re-purchase my membership, but sadly, I was mistaken. It didn’t save me any trouble at all. If anything, it just made trouble. First, you are unfortunately right in that you will not receive your deluxe prizes unless you to cancel your auto-renew and re-purchase your membership. From my experience with this matter, it would appear that the estore only grants auto-renew accounts with the deluxe pet and super item the first year; after that, you may as well forget it. Once your second year is renewed, you’ll get a notice and all your usual goodies and stuff… but those other things are usually missing. The first time this happened, I had to email customer service to get my pet code I never received. Thankfully, they sent it, but I still didn’t get the super deluxe item (Which was a shame, considering a friend of mine designed the item for that year ‘^^ ). The next time it happened, I emailed again… but didn’t receive any response. No pet. No super item. None of that. But that’s not even the worst part. Back when I first became Deluxe in the October of 2013, I used to have my account set on auto-renew for the one-year membership. But, I had to take a break for several months one year because of a billing issue. Now, when I got myself the one-year membership plan again, it renewed itself every February, because that’s when I re-bought it. However, a while, after the one-year membership auto-renewal was paid for, guess what happened? We got billed for another one-year membership in October, even though we never bought a second one. Apparently, the system must’ve gotten confused and thought that my account auto-renewed in October, instead of February. Well, it took several weeks to solve that problem, which wasn’t fun at all ‘^^ In short, it’s a crazy system, and I have no idea why members on auto-renewal don’t receive some of their special items after the first year =/ Personally, I recommend that, once your auto-renew draws to an end, cancel it and re-buy your membership as a non-renewable 1-year gift code. I’ve been using the gift codes for about a year or two now, and they’ve saved me a lot of hassle. No longer do I have to worry about missing items and waiting strenuously for customer service to email me back! Or about ‘ghost renewals’ that bill you even though it’s not even time for your membership to renew… *shivers* Anyway, I hope this helps you out some!

      • TaffyKitty12 says:

Oops, sorry! Just noticed a few typos in my response ‘^^ Meant to say “however, after a while…” and “you are to cancel your auto-renew.” Hopefully my reply wasn’t badly-worded, either. I know I’m terribly great at explaining things!

Another phenomenal podkinz episode! Thanks Michael and Mandy!! Can’t wait for the next episode. So many fun and exciting events happening, sure hope I keep better track of things in December than I did in November. Totally missed getting my Thanksgiving gifts since I have been in bed sick for almost 2 weeks now. *sob*

Lots of nice prizes coming up! But I’m quite disappointed with the Super Wheel. I understand that some new players like to be able to get old items, but to have nothing but re-runs is boring. Please remember us old-timers, and put something on it for us, too.

  9. abbytay123 says:

If i purchased a 1 year deluxe membership 2 months ago and purchase one in January will i have a year and a half left, and have the time i still have left tack onto the new purchase? Super excited for that super deluxe item!

  10. nanamama12 says:

Oh, my goodness! What fun once again! So excited for all of the December Events! This whole event with the Quilted Robin and the quilt squares SO appeals to my quilters heart! I’m going to enjoy going to the fabric stores for the after Christmas sales to find similar prints in order to make a real one!!!
