Hey, guys, I don’t know where I should say this, so I’m just putting it here. I tried to have a party just now, but something went wrong. When I clicked “go to party” nothing happened at all. I had my phone turned on and set to the right color zone (I only have access to one anyway), but still nothing happened. I thought maybe I should sign in again, so I got out of the game, but then I couldn’t get back in! The loading screen freezes with the dialogue box that says I’ll be immediately entered into the next party game if I click “okay.” It won’t let me click anything! It seems my party’s going on without me, but I don’t even know if my friends managed to go to it! This is my first one and it’s all messed up! I’m so sorry if I ruined everything, you guys. If I ever have another party, I will try to be more careful. Has any of this happened to anyone else? It there anything I can do to make sure things go right next time?

I get my pet name ideas from books, shows, movies, nature, food, what my pet looks like or what kind of personality it might have, family, and sometimes from the internet. Some of my favorite pet names are Ginger, Juniper, and Nell.

  3. MEGWEBKINZ says:

I have a TON of inspiration for my pet names! I like to ask Webkinz Newz users for suggestions and they are SO creative! Some of their pets’ names are incredible! I also have named a couple of my pets after people I look up to. I do this when I get those people’s favorite animals in Webkinz form and I name the pet after them! I also ask my friends. The three of us are all HUGE Webkinz fans so we always suggest names to each other before adopting our new pets! Finally, I believe the world around you is a great source of inspiration for ANYTHING! Other ones just come from the heart; everyone has their own style so everyone names different pets different things! I am always naming my pets based on their habitats or surroundings. Other ones just come from the heart; everyone has their own style so everyone names different pets different things. Some of my personal favorites: Anna Versary, my Decade Dragon; Starbucks, my Mocha Pup; Petunia, my Skunk; Liberty, my Rockerz Horse; and, of course, my favorite: Catty Patty, my lil’ kinz Grey and white cat! Other pets I have seen around Webkinz World that have PHENOMENAL names include an Otter named Hermione, a Ballet Pup named Bella Ballerina, and SO many FABULOUS Decade Dragon names! Podkinz Rocks!

  4. CrazyCatCrib says:

let’s see . . . my fave has to be my tuxedo cat, Clooney, cuz, well, sigh . . . . i have a pretty himalayan cat named Fionna Fluffernut which still makes me laugh a little. i have a dainty lil kinz tabby cat named Lady Tabitha Katz and she’s quite the elegant little lady. i have a halloween cat named Serafina which is such a pretty name. my new decade dragon was a bit of a problem for me since i’m all about cats, so i named mine Blue Kitty.

  5. monkeyfun15 says:

I have a question, when will another “Webkinz X” articular be posted? :)

  6. behappyuall says:

my fave pet name is Pink Puppy, a pink poodle. not a great name, really, but this used to be my niece’s account and when she was five and we’d been playing together for hours, she told me: “I love you more than a pink puppy.” that’s the absolute best thing anyone ever said to me. sigh. :)

  7. xBlueAvenue says:

I get most of my Webkinz names from TV shows and movie credits! I don’t know why but there us always cool names of the credits. And love to make up new names so they are unique and different!

    • DragonIsles says:

I love to watch movie credits! You’re right, it’s a great source of names for characters and webkinz. I get a lot of my Webkinz names from looking up the scientific names of the animals to see if any part of that would make a great name. Like my sloth’s name is Brady. A lot of my dragons have names that start with Au, the symbol for gold. But sometimes, I look at the pet and in spite of all my clever intentions, the pet clearly ‘tells’ me his or her name, and I go with that, even when I may not be very fond of the name. My Decade dragons are all named Cade, for decade. But if I can get another, I’m thinking Decker. I want twins on at least one account, since double digits.

  8. Horsegirl says:

A lot of the time, I get my ideas from what my pet looks like, or sometimes I think of a pretty name that fits my pet. ~Horsegirl~

    • Fracktail says:

Your pets are really awesome, Horsegirl! I saw your art in the Share Center, and I really love your style. It’s so adorable! It almost reminds me of Hanna-Barbera, but it’s so unique that it can stand on its own. I especially like the picture of your beagle! :D

    • balletbear5M says:

Hi Podkinz! I get most of my ideas from a certain feature from my pet or something they remind me of. For example I named my pink glitter fish Raspberry because n real life my pink glofish is named Raspberry! Another example I named my Bubblegum Cheeky Cat Bubbles since she is the “Bubblegum” Cheeky Cat! If your wondering I named my decade dragon Dee dee! Sincerely, balletbear5M

      • balletbear5M says:

P.S When will the first Social Superstar award come out????

        • TaffyKitty12 says:

I’m not exactly sure when the first social superstar award comes out, but it did say in the article that they’re going to give them out on the last Saturday of every month. I think the first one is supposed to come out tomorrow or tis Saturday, but I’m not sure. After that, their planning on doing one per month. Sorry if this didn’t answer much of question. (oh and ps, I really hope that you’re one of the players that get that award!) ;)

          • bullseyejingles444 says:

I think the article said the first one they are awarding is tomorrow, May 8th. :)

          • balletbear5M says:

Thanks for telling me TaffyKitty12!:) Thank you so much, you should be a winner too! You are so nice and so helpful to everyone!;D

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

            Aww, thanks! :)

        • 1Emerald1 says:

Tomorrow! Good luck, I hope you will be a winner!

          • balletbear5M says:

Tank you 1Emerald1!!!!!:) You deserve to be a winner too! You are so nice and are always agreeing with me! I hope both you and TaffyKitty12 can win sometime soon!;)

      • 1Emerald1 says:

        • 1Emerald1 says:

OMG! It’s my birthday today & I just received a new member for my Webkinz family! Woods, a signature endangered Red Wolf! I’m SO excited!

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Happy Birthday! Also, congrats on getting a signature endangered red wolf!

          • balletbear5M says:

Happy birthday!!!!!!:D That is such a beautiful and elegant pet, you are SO lucky to have it now!;)

          • 1Emerald1 says:

Thank you both! I collect signatures (and cats!), and this is one of the coolest signatures ever!

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Your welcome! I also own a signature red wolf. It really is an awesome signature! ;)

  9. lol12345 says:

Well I made mine a girl and named her Delancy (which isn’t creative but it starts with d) but online I found a good name Decimus which fits the decade dragon (it has something to do with the number ten and it’s latin) and I found it on google looking up names that start with Dec.

    • bullseyejingles444 says:

Hey! I actually named my dragon Decimus and can tell you some of the history behind it. :) So the Ancient Romans had a system for which to name their children, which often consisted of two or three different names (similar to a first, middle and last name that we know today). Anyway, one of the names they were given often designated what order the child was born (like first born (primus for boys and prima for girls), second born, third born, and so on and so forth.) The name “Decimus” means tenth (or tenth son) in latin. Latin is a really interesting and fun language! :D (Also, my dragon’s full name is Decimus Annus, which means “Tenth Year”)

    • Fracktail says:

Cool! Latin is the best. A lot of names have Latin numbers in them (like Octavius for eight, or Septimus for seven) because back then people sometimes gave their kids names to show what order they were born in. Just a thing I thought I’d share. Anyhoo, Decimus is a great name for your dragon (and I think Delancy is a cool-sounding name too!)

    • love2uall says:

oh! i can help with ur name, lol12345! i took four years of Latin in high school. and, here’s a surprise (not), Decimus means ten. lol. :D

    • Wolfy126 says:

I honestly take lots of time and thought into my pet names. I typically ask my family members for advice too. And I sometimes ask other players for advice as well.

  10. Horsegirl says:

Here are some of my favorite names I have given to my pets, Jadzia my signature white bengal tiger, Victoria my signature siberian husky, Akina my tropical island puppy, and Nighthowl my black wolf :) ~Horsegirl~

    • fredorg says:

I think my fave pet name is for my Lil Kinz Lion, Myron Lion. It’s not just a name, it also shows who he is as a person.

      • Pokekinz says:

Well, I love Orion’s name. I actually got it from a character in Greek Mythology, although Orion doesn’t act anything like Orion. :P I also like my Signature Arctic Hare, Kachine. It’s actually an American name, which I thought was kinda weird. It means “sacred dancer”, so I think it makes perfect sense for an Arctic Hare. A lot of the time I just randomly look around for names until I come across one I feel suits the pet. The only pet who I’ve ever asked for help naming is Lyle the Coyote (Fracktail suggested that name). I think it matches his personality really well. Berrina is probably one of my most unique Webkinz names (not counting Snowhootien and Chipadea…. Those are just plain weird). It’s basically “Berry”, but the “Y” is replaced with the name suffix “ina”. My least creative name is probably Shadow the Black Wolf…. Sorta generic. But I think his personality is different enough, despite the obvious seriousness, to stand out.

        • Fracktail says:

Hey, Poseidon’s name is from Greek mythology too! I just noticed that. Huh. And YAY you used my name! Sadly, I never got to see Lyle in action, but I wish him well in his future exploits. *salutes*

          • Pokekinz says:

Yeah, I have yet to include him anything, but I’ve been working diligently on his personality, along with Kachine and Missie and Jim and Alice and–…. A lot. Yeah. I actually noticed the Greek mythology name thing too, but when I posted a comment about it, it wasn’t moderated for some reason. :/

          • Fracktail says:

Hey, who’s Kachine? I’ve never heard of them. I know who Missy is, though; she’s the Golden Retriever, right? Kachine sounds like an awesome name, though. If I could have any name, that would be one of my first choices next to “Awesome McCoolname”. Yes I have good taste in names. Do not doubt the Awesome McCoolname.

          • Pokekinz says:

Well, “Signature Yellow Labrador”, but I still think it’s pretty much the same thing. :P Oh yeah, and I like to use the “ie” spelling rather than with a “y”. Anywhosie, Kachine is my Signature Arctic Hare. She’s got a bit of a British accent (even though I’m terrible at imitating those), and seems to long for a life where she primarily roughs it. She’s very agile and athletic, and sometimes a bit impulsive, but otherwise she usually makes smart decisions. And of course she’s got her flaws, she is, after all, my character. :P

          • Fracktail says:

Haha, Kachine sounds adorable! Also, sorry about completely floundering Missie’s description. ^^’ But yeah, Kachine’s personality is great, and it really fits for a hare. What’s weird is, I’ve always imagined hares having Scottish accents if they could talk, and although it’s not the exact same I think it’s funny that yours has an accent too. :P

          • Pokekinz says:

You imagined that too?! Although, I imagined the hares wouldn’t be Arctic Hares, they would be gray or brown or plaid or something. And they had canes. I always thought it suited them. The Signature Arctic Webkinz seem to look like they should have British accents to me for some reason. Same thing with the Signature Arctic Fox, but I’d refrain from giving it a British accent, since Kachine’s already got one. Although I doubt I’ll be getting the Signature Arctic Fox anytime soon. :P You know, sorta random, but does anyone else besides me fantasize Webkinz, and then use them as characters?? I’ve actually made a few, but the only one I’ve shown anyone is Ace the Signature Black Wolf.

          • Fracktail says:

OH MY GOSH, YES. And the hares could have classy clothes and shoes and be like upperclassmen or something, but they wouldn’t be stuffy; instead, they’d thirst for adventure and liveliness, and have really quirky and friendly personalities. You know, the type who’d climb to the top of the highest mountain to host a tea party. And about the fantasizing Webkinz, I never really thought of that. I guess I mostly just make characters that are Webkinz, and characters that aren’t Webkinz. I should try that, though!

          • Pokekinz says:

Yeah, and then my Webkinz that’s actually a Scottish breed has a British accent. :P In case you’re wondering, that’s Winston the Signature Western Highland Terrier, and I wish I had a miniature monocle I could give him. There are quite a few people in Shadow’s back-story that’re imaginary only, since I probably couldn’t include them in day-to-day games anyway. But Ace isn’t in Shadow’s back-story, just so ya know.

      • Br0cktree says:

I love naming pets! My favorite pet names that I’ve come up with are Ophelia (from Hamlet) my Signature Ocelot, Lundi (French for Monday) my Signature Endangered Red Panda, Zarana my Midnight Carousel Horse, Chew Toy my Knit Sock Dog, Yamaha (a company that makes pianos and dirt bikes) my Rockerz Leopard, Sevita my Patchwork Leopard, and finally Rainbow Smaug my Decade Dragon! Of course I love all my webkinz, but these are just a few of my favorite names. ;) -BT

      • woofwoofwoof says:

my favorite name would be Daisy i gave this name to my poofy poodle! the reason that it is my favorite name is because i have a real poodle named Daisy, she looks just like the poofy poodle! we even dye her different colors such as: pink purple and blue and those r the colors of the poofy poodle!!! so now i get to have a real poofy poodle and a virtual poofy poodle and that makes it twice as fun!!!!!!! and i also like the name magic which is my decade dragons name!!!

    • Fracktail says:

Here are a few of the names of my own main pets, in case anyone cared. :P Firstly, I have a Peace Puppy named Poseidon, after the king of the sea in Greek mythology. I named him that because I thought the sea was a pretty peaceful thing (although ironically, Poseidon in the myths is far from peaceful. Although given my Poseidon’s sardonic nature, he’s not particularly zen himself.) Next up is Blossom, my Guinea Pig. Blossom’s personality actually used to be really different when I first got her; she used to be kind of a neat freak and a stickler for manners, and since “Blossom” sounded like a delicate name I thought it fit the bill. Now she’s a boisterous explorer who loves bragging about all her courageous exploits (which may or may not have actually happened). Another pet I have is Fluff the ditzy sheep, who is named that because sheep are fluffy. Pretty simplistic. Then we have Helix the hyena, who is pretty much just named that because I thought the word “helix” sounded cool. In retrospect, the name really does fit his off-the-wall bonkers personality! Finally, we have Jazzy the raccoon, who is one of my oldest Webkinz. Like Helix, I just named him that because I thought it sounded cool. :P Also, wow, this was way longer than I intended it to be. Sorry!
