The Pumpkin Patch Trophy Challenge starts today (September 10th), but don’t leave it to the last minute… you only have until Friday, September 14th, to earn the trophy!
Here’s how to play. Look for the Pumpkin Patch Protector Trophy Challenge icon on your Webkinz account (web only). It will be displayed along the left side of the screen:
Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, September 14th (EST) to earn the Pumpkin Patch Protector Trophy:
- Plant 10 Growing Gardens Pumpkin Seeds in your pet’s yard
- Earn 260 KinzCash playing Pumpkin Patch Protector in the Games Arcade
- Feed your pet 10 Pumpkins from the W-Shop
Play Pumpkin Patch Protector at the Arcade on Webkinz.com and try to fend off the diving crows with the garden hose!
Complete the Challenge by September 14th (midnight, Eastern Standard Time), to win the trophy!

Wow, you guys are all awesome for winning the trophy already! I’ve hardly been on, we’ve been so busy; but I’m going to need a lot of games to finish. It’ll be close, I think I need to play about 35 or 40 games, at the rate i’m going, lol. I’m determined to do it, though–I won’t give up!
I never knew that this game was played using arrow keys until I read the instructions a few days ago. I usually play it without using the arrows and only using the mouse.
In these 2 days I’ve completed this challenge 6 times for my accounts. Each time I played I got 18 to 34 kinzcash. So I had to play Pumpkin Patch Protector many, many times. The trophy is wonderful, and I’m glad I worked hard to get it.
I did it!! It took me all day yesterday, I would play 10 games then rest then play another 10 games and so on, but not enough money earned in the 10 game round, but glad I kept going!! Love the trophy, good luck everyone!!
Got my trophy yesterday afternoon…it’s adorable! Must admit…this challenge wasn’t as bad as I thought. Stink at Pumpkin Patch Protector and actually got better the more I played it. Thanks again Ganz for these absolutely wonderful trophy challenges. Please keep them coming!

Have you tried putting your dock down? If that doesn’t work, then you may have to adjust the resolution on your computer.
I just got my trophy, and I’m VERY relieved to be done. I don’t even want to think about how many games of this miserable game I had to play to get it……….
I did it! The trophy is beautiful and a really nice size so you can see the details. Keep trying, everyone – it’s worth it! Do a couple games at a time and the kinzcash will add up. My eyes feel really dry and buggy, and I needed to put in my eyedrops – lol – but I’m going to try to complete the challenge on my other two accounts tomorrow.

I’m not very good at point and shoot games, so I didn’t think I would get it, but I did. It took me about 15 games to earn enough. Just keep trying. It may take several games, but it will be worth it.
Scoring 260 kinzcash in this game in one week (on weekdays, no less) is completely unrealistic for most people, unless they have absolutely nothing else to do (school work, etc.). Can’t you extend the time for this challenge, or make the pumpkin patch goal a little more attainable?
I agree – any kind of challenge should include a weekend so more people have the opportunity to participate.
You may have a point about the timing however, I did manage to pull it off in about an hour or so. What I found that helped me is that I would do one round of Pumpkin Patch and then go do another game…like Cash Cow…that split the time up a bit and didn’t seem quite as daunting.
