Just a reminder to all of our players that cheating in any form in Webkinz can lead to your account being permanently closed. Cheating includes:
- Using outside tools to acquire or create items, KinzCash, eStore points or pet codes.
- Attempting to hack our systems in any way, for any purpose.
- Exploiting bugs in the game to acquire or create items, KinzCash, eStore points or pet codes.
- Entering another player’s account without their permission, for any reason.
If you discover an exploit or outside tool, please let us know at webkinzsupport@ganz.com right away.
We do not like closing accounts but we must protect our game and make it fair for all players. Please protect all of the hard work you have put into your Webkinz account and do not use exploits or cheats.

I have one friend whom I trust and have given my Webkinz password to so that she can make sure I get the special things like Christmas Santa Kinz Present, Thanksgiving Basket, Easter Basket, and other special events items because I have no computer access on those days. This friend is so dear to me, that I have already told her mom and my husband that if anything were to happen to me, she is to have my account and all my Webkinz especially the ones I have yet to adopt on my account. ♪♫LadyBeauty♪♫
How lovely! I so wish I had a real world friend who plays and loves Webkinz! My now young adult kids know my password, so if Webkinz continues & there are ever any grandchildren, they’ll inherit my account & all that goes with it. I hope you will get computer access very soon, LadyBeauty, so you can go on the site whenever you like!

That’s very nice! Only 3 of my siblings(2 don’t even play Webkinz any more XP) and my parents know my password. But unfortunately, they don’t know my passwords to my other accounts.
Their are grandmas , aunts and cousins in our family we help each other play. But even with us sometimes everybody’s busy . Oh yes life gets in the way ;) !!
I gave my friend my account, and she gave hers to mine. But, she’s been using my recesses (at the kinzville acadamy). I thought about changing my password, but she would probably get mad at me so I didn’t.

I keep getting locked out of the Code Shop, I am not entering stolen codes, only those I purchase…its a bit frustrating
Hooray, I get to listen to a rabbit named Hazel troll ppl in trading about this. Saying bad things about good players. I’m sick of it. As a related note: Why doesn’t the reporting tool work if we report those who are harassing/bullying us? Does anyone get banned from that tool? Are chat logs reviewed? Then ppl get banned for a triggering phrase we had no idea was one. I’m sorry, but I’m frustrated.

Lol I’ve been banned from chatting for years now for simply spelling a word wrong. I got an email from them telling me why I would no longer be able to chat. I was amused and aghast. For spelling a word wrong. No more, no less.
And I assure you, it wasn’t just someone spelling a word wrong. These players know exactly what they’re up to. And “reporting” them has no effect whatsoever. Which is why I can no longer play the game with my nieces, their mom has banned Webkinz from their lives because of problems like this. Sigh.
I feel the same…I spend LOTS of money on eStore items and because I am old and can’t see well, I often times enter the wrong letter or number…then I am locked out and don’t even get to use my new items… =(
Hazel was harassing me in the trading room, good thing there were nice Webkinz there that stood up for me. (-: I’ve also heard a LOT of people complaining about her.

I’d like an answer on this as well. What, exactly, are they talking about here? People getting away with not paying them money for use is clearly the issue of concern. Site security – players being harassed in every social media part of the game – needs to be improved.
Oh oh, I know this one! A shovel, a rake and a hoe!! @_@ Sorry, couldn’t resist. It’s getting way too serious in this room. Too many people are ‘guessing’ what the problem is and it’s quite simply, ‘don’t use a code generator to create new codes, don’t duplicate items using a hacking program that steals information and intellectual property from Ganz and makes money off of their hard work. It is not fair to the people who legitimately purchase items or pay for Deluxe membership or those who buy pets at retailers.
I think perhaps it’s for the best that we don’t know what the “outside tools” are. The fewer people with knowledge of and access to such tools, the fewer hackers and cheaters there will be.
That being said, I’m assuming it’s okay to access a sibling’s account (with permission, of course). Thank you for notifying this because I’m often worried about what would happen if someone got into my account.
I think you assume correctly. My daughter was 6 when she first joined webkinz (this is her account) and she could not do many things to earn kinzcash (especially anything in the arcade) and therefore was unable to purchase furniture she wanted. She was getting very frustrated. My niece had her own account and was older and I gave her my daughters acct info. Every time she log onto her acct she would send 20 mins or so do everythin my daughter could not do plus play a game or 2 in the arcade to rack up some kinzcash until my daughter was old enough to do for herself. My niece is my daughter’s hero! Her acct has now been handed down to her younger sister who is disabled and loves Webkinz everything., and it came with thousands of kinzcash and a dock full of furniture clothing and food. Now my daughter and I share this acct, we both find it entertaining and relaxing and like different parts of the site and different games.
Wow, it’s unfortunate to need a reminder, but it’s good to know about. Have there been bugs lately? I haven’t noticed any, but I’ll report anything out of the ordinary.
It is so sad that you/we have to worry about this but thank you for bringing it to our attention so we can report anything suspicious.
Finally this issue is being looked at it has been happening for a long time and cheating in any way is unfair to us all I wish Ganz would actually follow thru on enforcing these rules I have reported accounts that are used to cheat and nothing happened ….those accounts are still being used and active another just as important issue is the bulling that continues to happen you would be surprised at how much some players can say even with a filter
