Security Update: Password update required for all accounts

To ensure the security of all our player accounts, we have put in place a requirement that all players update their account password before logging into Webkinz World. Players will only have to do this once.

 

 

We have streamlined this process for you. When you log in with your current password, you will be given this prompt telling you to update your password:

 

 

You will be automatically taken to the Change Password:

 

 

Here you can simply enter your new password, and then again to confirm it and click Apply. You will then be taken right into Webkinz World to begin playing.

 

 

We are asking that all players use at least 8 characters for their passwords. We encourage players to use both numbers and letters in their password for added security.

 

 

 

 

 

UPDATE (04/24/2020): UPDATING YOUR PASSWORD ON MOBILE

 

  1. Open a web browser on your mobile device (e.g., Chrome or Safari)
  2. Go to webkinz.com
  3. Tap on the gray menu button (3 horizontal stacked lines) in the top right corner of the screen to open the menu
  4. Tap on “Change password” to go to the mobile Change password screen
  5. Follow the same steps listed in the article above

 

 

 

Remember, you will only have to do this once. The next time you log in, you will go right in. The security of our player accounts are of utmost importance to everyone at GANZ. We appreciate your patience with this inconvenience.

    I changed mine pretty easily. It’s just hard to remember the new one after using the old one for 14 years! LOL!

    I have been locked out of all my accounts for over a week now and have not received any response from customer service. I need help since we have missed out on completing the pizza challenge and the time capsules. Please respond.

    Having the same problem with my pepaxo3 account. Made a mistake trying to change the password. I know everyone at Ganz/Webkinz are working hard to help. I emailed customer support. I hope it can be resolved before Webkinz Day!

    i can not log in to my webkinz account. i did get on ganz website and change my password. i can logg into ganz webpage just not on webkinz to play. says my account can not be found

    Still no response from Ganz, as the security issues and updating passwords. After 14 years, it’s disappointing.

    Thank You for helping me to finally get into my account, it took many days of asking t ohave the password reset because of the change that was required. Will you be giving those of us who have missed the Webkinz capsule because of the password change any that we have missed ? I missed 5 of them waiting to get this resolved # 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12. I was also not able to finish the Pizza Palaca challenge and I only needed 5 more wishes to complete.

    I am also waiting to hear from ganz about not being able to get new password. Very hard to reach them. I am missing out on capsules and looks like webkinz day also. I had no trouble on my other accounts, My old password I have had for years. I am so upset about this.

    I just finished giving new passwords to all of my accounts yesterday! (i guess that’s what i get for having do many to take care of XD) It doesn’t take very long, and it’s a very easy process.

    No response 2 weeks why i did not get a deluxe box yet.I usually have to call,but this is a long time waiting.Nothing since the first week of March.
