Collect Acorns throughout September to win prizes you can use to build a retro basement for your pets to enjoy!
Here’s how it works: From September 1 – 30, look for the Acorn Collection icon on your Kinzville Map on the Webkinz Classic Desktop App, and click on it to see your collection. The icon will appear on the right side of your screen if you are playing on the browser version of Webkinz Classic:
You’ll get one free Acorn every day, just for clicking on the collection icon (Deluxe Members will get two free Acorns a day).
Once you have received your free Acorn, you can get five more throughout the day by asking your friends (by clicking the ASK FRIENDS button) or by finding and clicking on the floating Acorn on WebkinzNewz.com (make sure you collect your free one first before trying to find one on Webkinz Newz).
Need more friends to help you complete your collection? Click the ASK FRIENDS button, then click the NEED MORE FRIENDS? button to see other players looking for friends and add them to your Friends List.

WOW After reading all the comments this basement room is the biggest hit in a long time. I’m so excited to redo my retro room and put it in the basement. Bring on the jukebox, beanbag chairs. peace sign and all the rest that goes with it. I can’t wait to see the rooms everyone makes, send them in everyone :)

I wish ganz had offered this as a room, from webkinz inception. I look at this and see “garage” more than a basement. Have had a couple of nicely finished basements; but they were used for storage or TORNADO = : 0 emergencies. Do not use basements as living space, as I gotta have LOTS of light ! I shall be re-working my rooms around! sigh

This is great! Now we need a Christmas kitchen collection. Christmas decorated refrigerator, stove, sink, countertop or island and a barstool. PLEASE!!!!
Hi Izzy360 – Hope you see this. One of my very favorite Christmas themes is Home for the Holidays and it includes the Cozy Kitchen Island and Cozy Kitchen Chairs. The Island is white with green garland and red bows and the counter height chairs are white with a large red bow tied in the back. Yes, there is a lack of Holiday stoves and fridges, but I have used the Retro Stove and Retro Refrigerator that were collection items in 2024. They are both red and white and look homey so I put them together with the HftH theme. I have extras of all these items and would love to share them with you if you are interested – I would not need anything in return.
