The DIY Tie-Dye event returns to Webkinz Classic on Sunday, June 7, and there is one new pair of DIY Shorts available to dye!
During this event, look for floating bottles of DIY Rainbow Tie-Dye on your Webkinz Classic account, and click on them to add them to your Dock (limited to 2 a day for free players, 3 for full and 4 for Deluxe players).
You can use your DIY Rainbow Tie-Dye to dye the DIY Dress, T-Shirt, Wig, Bow, Sneakers, Hat, Plushy or the brand-new pair of DIY Shorts that are available in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop:
You can also use tie-dye to dye the pair of DIY Socks that you can make buy combining Sewing Club Green, Red and White Thread on the Clothing Machine. Sewing Club Thread can be collected during Kinzville Sewing Club events:
The new pair of DIY Shorts is available in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop, and will remain in the WShop once this events ends at midnight, Sunday, June 14.
You can also find DIY Design Tickets in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop:
Combine a bottle of DIY tie-dye, an item you can tie-dye and a DIY Design Ticket on the Clothing Machine at the KinzStyle Outlet to make a special DIY gift box:
When you drag the DIY gift box into your pet’s room, you’ll win a common, uncommon or rare tie-dyed prize!
Remember, bottles of DIY tie-dye will only work when you combine them with items you can tie-dye and a DIY Design Ticket on the Clothing Machine. They do not work with the DIY furniture pieces, wall dividers or display cases.
Here’s a look at the common, uncommon and rare prizes you can make with the DIY Rainbow Tie-Dye:
You can only collect floating bottles of DIY Rainbow Tie-Dye during this event, but bottles of DIY Retro Rainbow Tie-Dye are always available in the WShop for eStore points. You can find them in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop:
Combine a bottle of DIY Retro Rainbow Tie-Dye with a DIY Design Ticket and an item you can tie-dye on the Clothing Machine to make a retro rainbow gift box that you can drag into your room for the chance to earn common, uncommon or rare tie-dyed prizes. Here’s a look at what you can make:
Remember, the DIY clothing and Design Tickets are always available at the WShop. So, don’t feel like you have to use your tie-dye right away. They won’t expire once this event ends, so take your time, and enjoy trying to make rare tie-dyed prizes!
Watch Podkinz Ep. 167 to learn more about the DIY Tie-Dye event, or check the DIY Tie-Dye Guide. It will be added to your Dock the first time you log in to your Webkinz Classic account during this event. It’s also available in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop.

Ugh, of course I like the rare options the most lol. Bren191′s room is so cool! I’m going to have to use some of their ideas when I redo mine :)
Awe Thank you SEW much.
I love how many different designs the teddy bears can be!
Except for the Rainbow Tee, the rare items do not look tie-dyed to me. I like the coloring of the rare items, but the rare Rainbow Tie-Dye looks multi-colored and the rare Retro Tie-Dye looks patterned. All are really pretty and glad to have them available, but just not what I would call “tie-dye.” Will have to get working on making some of these. Regardless of what they are called, I do love them all!!
Loving the NEW SHORTS! Thank you for featuring my room. I am humbled. Always Sew Much To Do in the sewing room. Sew many new items for Tie Dye. Thank you!
New summer outfit incoming!
Oh, my goodness! Heading into summer with some new shorts that will pair well with the t-shirt!
Amazing Technology and fun thank you!!!
I LOVE the Retro Rainbow Tie-Dye clothing & wish that I could get them.
Sometimes, they have a code for a free bottle of either the Rainbow or Retro Rainbow bottles on the Podkinz episode where they explain how to use them. Keep checking. The free codes are, usually, close to the end, if you already know how to make the clothes and don’t need to watch the entire explanation.
