Not really thrilled with January Deluxe Prize Challenge. I love the thought of being able to get the Winterfest Cookies, and the Secret Bookshelf Hideout is really cool, but I do NOT like playing in the tournament arena, nor do I like games like Scrambled. I will probably pass on this challenge. I tired of stress and anxiety when playing some of the challenges. I play Webkinz for fun, not to stress out and worry about finishing a game. I was away from home on Christmas Day and did not get to Christmas Day Prize Wheel. Since you can’t do these things on Webkinz Mobile, which I have on my phone, I just didn’t worry about it. And, you know what? I don’t even miss what I didn’t win, if that makes sense. Made me realize that I don’t “need” to try and win every single challenge just for a “prize”. I’d rather spend my time on Webkinz creating rooms and playing the games l truly enjoy playing. :-) For those of you that love playing the challenges, I wish you loads of fun and much good luck! :-) Happy New Year to all Webkinz Players, Ganz, and Team Webkinz! :-)
However….I DO love the Community Challenges. Those are easy and fun to do! I think it’s good for all of us to work together! :-)
I totally agree with you. Also, you need really fast internet service to play some of the games.
HATE the tournament arena! I do not like Scrambled at all either but I just kept playing until I finally hit the 120. I cannot win any battles in the tournament arena though! It is driving me insane lol

Sort of makes me…almost a little glad it didn’t win! ^_^ because that means that now I can get it!
I’m more annoyed by the time-restrictive requirements on these Deluxe Challenges than the games we’re required to play. Though some of the trophy/other challenges are getting annoying with the high amounts of kinzcash on little-payout games and short time tables.
Generally I tend to agree with you, but I think the requirements are a little more reasonable. Dogbeards Bathtub goes pretty quickly if you play against NPCs and use lots of power ups. 120 KC is actually pretty doable with as little as 2 plays of Scrambled (although each of those two plays will take a little while).
please Ganz, stop having us having to do and win the tournament games – so very time consuming and frustrating and not fun at all. There are tons of other games we can do. From comments I know I’m not the only one who hates to do tournaments in the challenges. Thanks for considering it. It would help us all out so much and make it fun to do a challenge.
Fred04 If you have a host to go against, that will be the easy way, they don’t use the power ups once they’re available.

I adore bookcases and this is truly a fabulous prize! But the games we are tasked with completing are super-hard/annoying (scrambled) and incredibly time consuming (dogbeard). I just wish these challenges were a bit easier. Despite my best efforts, I won’t be able to finish the December challenge, and I know I won’t be able to finish this one, either. Even Deluxe members don’t get all the prizes.
I agree. Sometimes I miss out because I can only have a little screen time each day and these tasks can be to hard to finish in my screen time. My sister is better at games by she has had trouble too. I try really hard though. I am very sorry to hear you can’t do the Dec one in time. I am not good at Scrambled and next month will be very hard for me. Dec was easier for me but some other months I had to get my friend to help me play.
Yes! I am so bad at Pizza Palace and Scrambled and all the games that involve jumping things (the monkey one and those poor, poor drowning frogs!). I could definitely use a friend to help me play, but I’m the only one at my house who does. And I have very limited webkinz time these days, too. Oh well! All we can do is hope Ganz is listening and taking our concerns seriously.
Haha, I totally read this and mixed it up with the current polarberry challenge in my head and went and played Scrambled until I got 150 kinzcash and then clicked on the challenge and realized I was supposed to play Polarberry Jam so I played Scrambled for nothing. I guess, practice?
What is Webkinz’s nearly unholy fascination with the dang tournament arena anyway, lol? My hubby and I both detest it so we play each other and take turns “throwing” a game and thus, get the tournament arena over quickly. But geez, I wish they’d seriously considering getting off of this fixation lol.
I think it’s probably because the Tournament Arena is pretty empty nowadays, and they want to try to rekindle it. I remember when it was hopping with players.
Yeah, I go to the Tournament Arena not infrequently but I always end up there because of challenges. Always. Also it sounds really interesting to have a husband/boyfriend who shares your interest in Webkinz rather than merely tolerating it.
Well there goes another month of no prizes for us non- deluxe members. Can’t wait for the month of March so we can get a free deluxe for a week.
Honestly, I am Deluxe and I don’t even bother with most of the challenges. It just takes me too long because I am terrible at games. But Deluxe is worth it for so many other reasons! And I got mine half price during the sale — so keep an eye out for that!

I know that it’s frustrating, but look on the bright side. You know full well that somewhere along the line we will get at least 1 free cookie so that we have a chance at one of those prizes, plus we do get the snowflake ones and they are really cool too! Always look on the bright side of the prizes!
