You must have at least 3 letters to form a word. But there are not very many tips to tell: Do remember that you form words down, diagonal, zigzag, UP, or BACKWARDS – start with a letter, and click on letters going left, or up and they spell correctly, but it’s harder to realize they are there. When a tile has a red edge, you must use it in a word before it reaches the bottom, or the game ends. Hope you enjoy this game.

Hey there @cvd1934! This is a word puzzle game so it is right up my alley. (I am generally rubbish at action/arrow games!) This game is not timed, so take your time to look all around the board to try to find words from connected letter tiles. It’s kind of like the board game “Boggle”, and the tiles have different values like the board game “Scrabble” (“A” worth less than “W” for instance.) If you have a good word, look for a prefix or suffix that you can guide to connect to it, by dropping other words. (I just had the word “mature”, and would have loved it if I could have connected an “im” on the front because “immature” would have been even more points!) When a tile is green or purple, it is worth more, so try to use it in a nice big word to really cash in. Your strategy can get sidetracked when the red tiles show up. You have to use them in a word of the specified length or longer or they will keep destroying the tile beneath them until they reach the bottom and you lose the game. When all else fails, use the scramble button. This is good for breaking up the board if you have a lot of consonants touching, but it does create more of the red tiles. Don’t panic about the red tiles – scan all down the line that they are in. If for example you have a red tile that’s a “D” and it’s surrounded by consonants, but further down the row you can connect to a “OWN”, then make other words on other parts of the board and let it break a few tiles until it gets there. I’m sorry that this is long (I tend to be wordy!) but give it a try and see what you think. Please come back and let me know how it goes, and don’t hesitate to ask any more questions!

If you see a word, always be sure to check tiles around it again/more closely in case you can make it an even longer word. Say you find the word ‘store’… double check adjacent tiles and you can maybe end up with stored or stores or even restore. If you have a really inconvenient ‘Qu’ qua and quay are words. Keep in mind that some first names are also words: Bob, Joe, Josh, Mike, Molly, Sally all lead a ‘not-name’ double life in a Scrabble-based reality. And sometimes those beaver boys just don’t care if you add a ‘d/ed’, ‘s/es’ to to whatever word you have going, even if it’s not very standard. And even if you are very sure something is not a word, try it anyway. It may surprise you. I’ve been downright stunned more than a couple times, and words are my thing. You can plot ahead and strategically make shorter words to get a red tile to crack letters in the way of a better word to get rid of it with even if the red tile is across the board. And finally, speaking of red tiles, if you have a lit tile from scoring a spectacular word, and a red tile falls on it, it goes back to being a regular tile. Good luck!
