We showed you some of the new Mod Holiday items last week. We’re so excited to show you the rest of the new Mod Holiday items today! They were all inspired by the beautiful artwork of player Resonatingthunder, who was the winner of our contest to design this year’s holiday theme.
Many of these beautiful new pieces will be available at the WShop between December 1 and 31, including the Dining Table and Chairs shown in the room above.
But there are even more ways to add to this beautiful theme. During the Candy Cane Collection, you’ll have a chance to collect the Mod Holiday Hurricane Candle, Noel Sign, Armchair, and the Sliding Doors which were based on another of Resonatingthunder’s lovely sketches.
Deluxe players can also collect the gorgeous Mod Holiday Piano by completing December’s Deluxe challenge.

Wow, and here I was thinking this theme couldn’t get any more amazing!
It must feel so amazing as Resonatingthunder to have not one but two pieces based directly on your sketches be added to Webkinz World! How did that happen? I thought entrants could only submit designs for fireplaces, and that other sketches given for a sliding glass door or the like wouldn’t be accepted.
Well, regardless of the answer, it looks like s/he worked hard and they both turned out lovely. I sure couldn’t have come up with a Christmas design back in July lol.
They asked me if I had ideas for what my suggested items looked like. The tree was pretty obvious so I didn’t do that one, but I sent an idea for the door and rug
Why is the piano for Deluxe Members only? Can’t someone fix that in the near future or just simply due away with the Deluxe Membership thing altogether?

Who is Noel?
Haven’t you ever heard of the common Christmas song/carol The First Noel? If you google it, it’ll explain everything. But, from my understanding– that is, when I googled The First Noel I found out that: “‘The First Noel’ is sometimes titled ‘The First Nowell.’ Both the French word “noel” and the English word “nowell” mean “nativity” or “birth” and refer to the birth of Jesus Christ on the first Christmas.”‘
