The Pumpkin Patch Trophy Challenge starts Monday, September 10th, but you’ll only have until Friday, September 14th, to fend off those pesky crows and earn the trophy!
Here’s how to play. On September 10th, look for the Pumpkin Patch Protector Trophy Challenge icon on your Webkinz account (web only). It will be displayed along the left side of the screen:
Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, September 14th (EST) to earn the Pumpkin Patch Protector Trophy:
- Plant 10 Growing Gardens Pumpkin Seeds in your pet’s yard
- Earn 260 KinzCash playing Pumpkin Patch Protector in the Games Arcade
- Feed your pet 10 Pumpkins from the W-Shop
Play Pumpkin Patch Protector at the Arcade on Webkinz.com and try to fend off the diving crows with the garden hose!
Complete the Challenge by September 14th (midnight, Eastern Standard Time), to win the trophy!

Yikes. I don’t mean to complain but at the most I can get 12KC after a long game and at that rate it will take me 26 tries to complete and I’m scared to think how much time it will take. Regretfully I am passing on this one. I always try my best to complete the task but I am not going to do this even on one account.

Thank you, Michael, for your encouraging words. I have not played this game for a very long time so I had a practice session today. The game isn’t that hard to play, but the $$ payout is so low. Perhaps that’s why I don’t usually play PP. Earning $260 KC is going to take many games. Please, Michael, can you put a bee in the right person’s ear and make this the game of the day during the trophy challenge? I’m going to try my best – that golden pumpkin is a beautiful trophy and it will be beautiful in our fall rooms with the acorn collection furniture or as a prize in a Fall Fest carnival.
You’re right, Michael! It’s doable if we just don’t give up on it. It took me a LOT (ahem….a LOOOOOOOOOOOT) of games to complete the challenge with Candy Bash; I even joked that I’d have to play 3 games to earn 1KC. I find that laughing and not being too serious about the challenges keeps them fun. Have fun, everyone, and you can do it!

The few times I’ve played it I’ve used my mouse to aim the water squirts. I can’t imagine trying it with arrow keys.

Hi twixiskawaii – Unfortunately, free players are not able to play Pumpkin Patch Protector in the arcade. You need to have a regular account, but you do not need to have a deluxe account.

Your room is gorgeous! I enlarged the picture on my IPAD and was like Ohh and Wow over each area. I was wondering if the TV, bed and mining cart are PSI’s though. Just lovely!
The bed is a Superbed, and the TV is the Emperor Dragon’s Pet Specific Item. The mining cart I think was available as a prize during Webkinz 10 Year Anniversary celebration. The mine might be the donkey’s PSI.

I have 7 pets now and I think on your 10th you get a Superbed box. At the rate I added pets in the last year, I should be able to pick one out by spring. Yay! I’ll have to remember this bed. Trophy matches past trophy and the JUDGE hat works well together
2 different kinds of pumpkins. Farm Fresh that we grow and W-Shop pumpkins . I BELIVE it is W-Shop pumpkins we must feed pets. As for seeds I like the 1 seed method of re planting . I have 600 pumpkins and really don’t need more. As for game THIS will be a long one sadly 260 you couldn’t leave it at 200 or 250 . BUT WHY 260 ?? This game pays so little in each game . But this is the GO TO GAME for fall please find a new game next year .
i get the daily record everyday i play(shoutout to my pet riley), a great way to play is use touchscreen if you have a touchscreen laptop. it is easier then clicking each crow

rjbplays thank you so much for this tip!!! I truly can not play this game because of having to use the arrow keys. (due to brain damage I can’t play games needing the arrow keys) but with your suggestion of using my touchscreen laptop I will be able to play this one!! I still am not good (I just went and played a few games to try out your suggesstion) and it will take me forever but at least I am able to at least try to win this trophy!! I love trophies and trophy challenges and am really sad when I can’t at try for one… thank you so very very much for your helpful advice. Hopefully others find it helpful as well….. it puts us back in the game!!! *hugs*

Cool! I dunno how good I am at Pumpkin Patch Protector, (I hardly play it, eheh), but I’m hoping I’ll still be able to complete this challenge! :)
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I love the trophy! :D I think it’s one of my favorite trophies that they’ve had in awhile :)
Why not let us use our own pumpkins from our own gardens.
@4patricia, If you mean to plant 10 growing seed pumpkins, I’m pretty you can just remove 10 pumpkin plants from your garden and replant the seeds and it will count.
You can also plant one pumpkin seed, remove it, plant it again, and repeat.
I think they mean the wshop pumpkins to feed our pet. Yes, it would be very convenient to feed them growing garden pumpkins!!
I sell my Growing Gardens Pumpkins to the WShop and buy the KC equivalent in WShop Pumpkins. They satisfy my pets in the same way, and it’s half the cost because I get two for each Garden one. It’s a big help, because those cute little Webbies seem to have an endless appetite.
My thought is that if someone doesn’t have any growing garden pumpkins in their dock, they won’t be ready in 4 days when planting the seeds for the challenge. I do wonder why they didn’t put a choice of feeding your pet either growing garden pumpkins or pumpkins from the Wshop.
I think you are entirely correct! It takes a good week for the plant to mature, so it makes practical sense to buy the store pumpkin. I will try the farm fresh ones too, just to see if they apply.
