Our Leprechaun Clubhouse Event returns From Wednesday, March 11th until St. Patrick’s Day on Tuesday, March 17th! Collect colorful Jelly Coins from the Leprechaun in the Clubhouse during that time and once you have all 6 colors, you’ll unlock this year’s grand prize: a Magic Painting!
Then on St. Patrick’s Day itself, Wednesday, March 17th, log in to your Webkinz account on web, mobile or the desktop app to receive this year’s luck prize: a Shamrock Throne!

The leprechaun does not come to the Reading room to collect the coins I waited 15 minutes and went back and waited 10 minutes and he never showed so good luck collecting your coins.
I just found the Leprechaun in the Reading Room after waiting for about a minute. Other times I switch to other rooms and stay for a minute or two. He always shows up in one of the rooms. Good Luck Everyone!

I just leave my pet in a clubhouse room, and turn the volume way up on my pc and go about whatever I need to be getting on with. The leprechaun always says something as he enters the room. Sometimes it takes a good while. The only caveat is you need to go back periodically and move your pet a bit so you don’t get logged out. Good luck all.

I always love all the St. Patrick’s Day events as my family is very Irish. However, I don’t have time to sit and chase the Leprechaun for all of my 6 Deluxe accounts. I wish they would put him in one room or in a special room in the clubhouse. Good luck to everyone who has time to look for him!!
This is my first time looking for him. Just started using Webkinz again this past summer. I checked every room in the clubhouse & nothing. That wasted a good bit of my time. I really want the prizes, but this is a ridiculous event.
Hang in there. I hung out in Daisy’s Diner this morning after the Wednesday morning site updates. It took about ten minutes for him to appear, and then he was only there for 1-2 minutes. This evening I was in Doug’s Clubhouse room and waited about 16 minutes on my main account, but later only 3 minutes on my second account. He definitely comes by, but yes, the waiting is a pain in the pot of gold! Keep your sound turned up, and go do something else while your are doing time in the Clubhouse rooms. When he finally turns up, he always enters the room with a cute saying (“Top o’ the day to ya!”, etc.). Listen for him, click on the little bugger and then you are done for the next 5 hours. Voila!
I returned to Webkinz in august too, mustang. I thought something was broken because there was no special leprechaun room. I thought the whole time that’s what Webkinz Newz meant when it described the event. Never have I participated in such a confusing clubhouse event. I’m going to be really disappointed (read: angry) if I can’t get all the jelly coins because of this. Okay, 18 minutes until Kinztime midnight and I’ve got 2 out of 3 accounts completed. Hopefully this ends swimmingly!

Not getting lucky this am! Seems I get to the last peek-a-news and get hit w/bad gateway. Have to go out, I clear cache(not sure it helps), then come back and start again. This is the 2nd of my 3 accounts so far. Is it just me?

Don’t go clear your cache! Just hit the refresh button. Sometimes it takes a couple times, but it will work. On Safari it is the little circular arrow at the end of the url bar (where it says webkinznewz.ganzworld.com. I’m not sure where it is on other browsers, but they all have a refresh button. It always works for me.
You know, I’ve noticed this morning that I’ve had to back all of the way out of the browser and relaunch a couple of times already. Of course on a Sunday when tech is out for the day. (well deserved mind you) just bad timing for us.
Hi everyone! I think that it is funny (not in a good way) that I am almost done my Peek-a-Newz, and I am stuck on this page. I tried to view the older comments on this post, and I get the “Bad Gateway” message. Refreshing dozens of times only gives more of the same. I can hit the back button though and it brings me right back here. So here I’ll stay. Rereading everyone’s posts on this page, and continuing to try to get out of this crazy gateway box. I’ll let you know if I ever escape.

Okay, I finally escaped, but then I couldn’t find my way back in. I hit the “x” and closed out of WKN, but then I couldn’t log back in at all. :-( I then cleared my cache, and was able to log back in (hooray!) but soon hit a brick wall again, or rather “Bad Gateway”, so that was the end of my Peek-a-Newz for the day. Today seems to be going smoothly so far. Shhhhh…I’m hiding from the “Bad Gateway”…

Badgate glitches are not your doing unfortunately. If you look up the code on Bing/google, you’d find that the problem lies with their servers and a glitch on their end.
Celebrate it as a special day that I met someone who changed my life on March 17 .

I love these prizes and St. Patrick’s Day. In honor of the day, I treated myself to the Good Fortune Harp to be a focal point in my Leprechaun Lounge. I thought I would hear O Danny Boy or something similar, but was rather astonished to hear it play a Spanish melody by Manual de Falla???? Maybe it’s to honor the remnants of the Spanish Armada that took refuge in Ireland…….
That could be and what a very nice thing to do.
I celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. I wear green clothing and my LUCKY Leprechaun Hat, listen to Irish music, eat lots of Irish Stew and drink plenty of GREEN Beer. :}
