It’s the time of year to be thankful for the harvest! This year we wanted to show our thanks to YOU with a special community challenge from November 20 to 27. Harvest crops, sell them at the market, and bake up a special new recipe to earn a SPUD-tacular new prize!
Thanksgiving Community Challenge
A community challenge is one where the whole Webkinz community works together to reach a goal! If you participate, and if the community reaches the goal, you can claim this beautiful Thanksgiving window to place in your pet’s home!
Here’s how it works:
Look for the challenge icon on the left side of your screen between November 20 and 27. Click on it to see your tasks.
Participate in the challenge. You don’t have to participate in all parts of the challenge – any participation in any part of the challenge will make you eligible to claim the prize. But remember, the more players who do the tasks the better your chances of reaching the goal!
You’re going to need to harvest 1,000 crops from your Farmer’s Plot as a community, and sell 200,000 crops to Farmer Will! That’s where the spuds come in! Cook up 2,000 Scalloped Potatoes from a new recipe that unlocks with the challange.
The Scalloped Potato recipe is only available during this challenge so be sure to make lots!
If you reach the goal, you can claim this beautiful Thanksgiving window.

Yet another thing I will not be able to because of the server problem logging me out every few minutes. Don’t tell me to contact webkinz support, because I have 4 times now and they will not respond. Bear Summersky
Will there be a community challenge for Webkinz Classic? The ones in Next are fun and all, but I really like doing them in Classic.
Anyone else having trouble getting in contact with Ganz and Webkinz Customer Support. I’ve been email them for the last few days about a transaction issue and I’ve been emailing Webkinz Customer service about a separate issue because my friend tried making a Webkinz News account but never got sent the link for confirmation. So he can’t change his password if he wanted. They haven’t responded to the last two emails about my friends issue. and the last one was sent October 31. The one prior Oct 23.
If the activation email isn’t in your friend’s spam or junk folder, they’re going to have to create a new account. There’s no way to send another activation email and we can’t manually activate accounts. You can’t reset the password for an account that did not get activated.
Sounds like this is just for NEXT. Is that right??

Oh my gosh, my mom & I were talking about scalloped potatoes earlier. XDD How ironic, lol.
I would be very thankful if I didn’t get disconnected every 5 minutes from the game. It is very frustrating!
Is anyone else having trouble with their ovens for cooking the Cream of Pumpkin Soup? Mine won’t work.
What troubles did you have – can you be more specific? I did not have any problems making that recipe.
Make sure you put in both of the pumpkins and both glasses of milk. For some reason the salt loads all three for you when you put in the first one.
I have an oven. It says in the description in the W-shop it can cook food. When I click on it, my pet walks straight into it, and no cooking menu pops up. This has been occuring for several days now.
Which oven?
The glass top pink stove. However, I was able to complete the challenge by visiting my friend’s house and using their Aztec Oven.
I really like community challenges because they remind me that I am a part of something so much bigger… and we have an amazing community of players! I would put this window in the same exact spot as in the picture above, because I have been unable to find just the right window for my Classic Villa room and this is going to be perfect!
