Hello Webkinz Newz readers, Michael Webkinz here with a special report!
The New Year has arrived, so I thought it would be fun to find out what the Newz Team’s Webkinz New Year’s resolutions were. I didn’t have to wander far for my interviews… I found Sally, Steve and Mandy working on some Newz stories of their own, here at Webkinz Headquarters.
I spoke to Steve first. It seems like he’s going to be spending a lot of time at the Curio Shop:
STEVE WEBKINZ: Happy New Year Michael and great question! I would have to say that my goal for 2018 is to get a Crown of Wonder for each of my pets.
Steve won’t reveal exactly how many pets he has but you know it’s got to be a lot. Steve is famous for his unboxing videos where he reveals all the new Webkinz that are released by adopting them on his account… Good luck Steve!
Sally was excited to reveal her Webkinz New Year resolution. She actually came up with three. It’s going to be a busy year for Sally Webkinz:
SALLY WEBKINZ: Hi Michael! Hmmm… I actually have 3 resolutions for this year. First of all, I want to get 3 stars on all of the Goober’s Atomic Adventure levels. I’d also like to get my Family Score up to 250,000. Finally, you know how much I love to crochet so I really want to find the time to crochet a Wacky Zingoz plushy!

Finally, I found Mandy looking through several Webkinz outfits that were sent to her by some talented players. I thought her resolution would be fashion related but it turns out she had a similar goal to one of Sally’s:
MANDY WEBKINZ: Happy New Year Michael! I am determined to get three stars on Goober’s Atomic Adventure Level 6, Area 3! I’ve been trying for months and I’ve managed to get three stars in every other level, but that is the one level that has me stumped! Fingers crossed for 2018!
A big thank you to the Newz team for sharing their New Year’s resolutions with us. In case you are wondering, my goal for 2018 is to collect all the prizes from the SPREE mall. I’m still missing a few of the more expensive items and no doubt they’ll be new prizes released again this year.

I need one more gem to complete my second crown of wonder, so that’s one of my goals. Another is to give each of my (100, eek) pets a nice, fully decorated room, since I made lots of my pets’ rooms years ago and would like to make them look more appealing. The final goal of mine is to work on increasing my family score. On another note, I’d just like to say that I love how involved the WKN team is with the community. I haven’t been very active on WKN and plan to change that :D Good luck and Happy New Year everyone!

My Grandma LOVES to crochet! She is super fast, too. The made a HUGE stuffed snake (Probably at LEAST 5 feet?) for my little siblings and it did not take very long. Good luck on your New Year’s resolutions, guys, I hope you do them all! ;D I do not have any resolutions… I guess you could say my New year’s Resolution is to not have any resolutions… LOL! ;)

My New Year’s resolution is that I work on building my rooms I have saved in my dock! I buy everything I want for my room then…nothing I just have it sitting in the dock. I have to do a better job for my pets. Thanks
Yes! Exactly, beaubo! I don’t think that we are alone – I think there are a lot of players who do the same thing. One of the things that holds me back, is where to put a new room, and what size to make it since those things can’t be changed. I like to have the outside walls smooth (no doorways) for some wallpaper, so my WW house has really started to sprawl! If I could just build a room, with the option of hiding the outer wall doorways, and being able to increase, or decrease room size as needed (even for a remodeling charge), I probably would have a ton less stuff in my dock, and my WW home would increase in size exponentially! What holds me back more than anything is building on a massive map. I like the rooms to have the two main walls uninterrupted by doors, espcially if there’s a pattern, mural or a theme I don’t want wrecked by an open door. This is when I wish I could sell rooms back.
All room designers suffer this same sad fate! ;) My house map looks like a rabbit warren…..no, that would be an insult to rabbit warrens. Anyway, my greatest wish for the upcoming Webkinz app is that it allows us to turn off, delete or otherwise get rid of those pesky doors! There are only so many furniture items in WW large enough to hide them, and I do that constantly already. Please let us go doorless with the coming app!
LOL! I hide doorways too! I have the Adventure Park water ride blocking a door in my jungle room. I have to click on it and go down the waterfall to get into the room! LOL XD
I’m exactly the same, Beckinz8! When you can’t change things, it’s harder to make the commitment. Do you guys remember when wallpaper and flooring couldn’t be reused? Then it was really a commitment to use them, so I’m glad they changed that. Still, my resolution for WW this year is to get more rooms finished, at least for now, so my pets have a comfortable room to be in.

Mandy Good Luck with Goober’s Atomic Adventure. I am also stuck on Level 6 Area 3. When you get 3 stars, please let us know. Any tips would be helpful so I can complete this game. Mandy will there be a level 7 added to this game? It is my favourite.
Hi 1pepper! I still can’t believe this but the day before yesterday I actually DID get 3 stars on level 6 – 3!!! I have been trying for so long, now that I have 3 stars on every level and don’t need to play GAA anymore, I am not sure what I will do with all the extra time on my hands – LOL! I wish I could offer you some advice but this wicked level seems to require one lucky move right off the bat. So – it’s possible but it takes perseverance. Sorry I can’t be more helpful! To answer your other question,
I don’t believe there are any plans at this time to add more levels, but that is probably a good thing for my sanity! ;)
Oh cool! I didn’t know you liked to crochet, Sally! I also love crocheting. ^-^ I like to crochet Nintendo related things, such as Pokemon, but I also like to crochet animals and other random things. My mom likes to crochet, but she typically does more simple stuff like blankets and scarves. What do you like to crochet, if you don’t mind answering?
Bit of everything :) I do blankets and stuff, as well as little critters and other things. I crocheted around some ornaments over Christmas, and I’m currently on a Christmas gnome kick.
That’s nice! I’m too impatient for blankets, but it’s cool that you can do them. XD That sounds interesting; crocheting ornaments! I crocheted a snowflake ornament or so last month for one of my friends, but that’s all. Gnomes sound like fun too! It would be cute if you made a Wacky gnome, heheh! =]
I can crochet a baby blanket in about 5 hours or so. Helps being quick :D
Wow, nice! I think I just get bored with them, since they have to be pretty big and use basically the same stitch for the whole thing. I think I’m a pretty quick crocheter, though. =P
What a neat Special Report, Michael! So much fun to hear the Newz Team’s resolutions…(and by the way: I thought Mandy’s would be fashion-related, too. lol) I actually do have some Webkinz New Year’s Resolutions! I don’t make any resolutions in the ‘real world’—which may or may not be a good thing–but in WW, I have a list! First, I want to get to Level 10 at the Kinzville Academy for Intelligence. (Is it wise for me to reveal I am only at Level 8, and find it difficult? LOL) Second: to expand my Growing Gardens. It takes me a very long time before I will add room, because I’m so picky about how my ‘house’ is set up. And third: I’d like to do more Building Projects; I love the cabins, but so far, all I have built is the brick wall with the ivy. (which is gorgeous) But building log cabins is something I’d like to get accomplished this year. Thanks for the great Special Report, Michael, Mandy, Steve, and Sally! You are all awesome; I hope each of you had a nice vacation, and I’m so glad you’re all back!

My resolution is to get more friends playing using my Helping Paw code so I can earn more Helping Paw prizes. Also, I plan to move everything out of my dock. Right now I have dozens of storerooms for clothing, hats and shoes, spare beds, lamps, vehicles, walls and floors, seasonal decor and, of course, special food items. These storerooms are sprinkled throughout the house and, since I cannot move them, I would like to recreate them all together in one section of the house.
Thank you Momno1, you generosity floored me, the other day! I hope your friends help you out and you get all those cool helping paws items.
I thought I was the only one who had to have 3 stars on every module of every level of Goober’s Atomic Adventure. Not only that, I have to try and beat the high score. I want to get up to 500000, I want the Gone Fishing pond so bad. My other goal is to get 300 tokens so I can get that Campkinz pool. Ever since I saw it, I Have wanted it. I have tried to get it from Amanda Panda, but she keeps spelling my name wrong … You know when you see Luc with Fuzzter, Amanda it’s spelled Dix with Glitter LOL
