It’s always around late November that I realize just how little time there is before the holidays start in earnest. And then I begin to panic, because I maybe haven’t spent enough time thinking about what gifts to give to my loved ones!
Now, it’s not that presents are the most important thing, but I do like to show that I care — and being thoughtful doesn’t have to be expensive. Take my crocheted Wacky — it’s cute, it’s personal and it’s going to be a gift. (Spoilers! Hopefully he’s not reading this article.)
I’m still working on a few other presents, but I thought… what about in Webkinz World? You don’t have to break the bank to think of some fun presents for your friends in Webkinz World. Here are some of the ideas I had:
- KinzCash coins. There are so many ways to earn them, and it’s a nice bonus for any shopaholic friend. Alternatively, if you have KinzCash to spare, you can always buy one of the extra expensive W Shop items so your friend can sell it to replenish their KinzCash.
- Rare items. You can only get one of these at a time, so if you’re keeping an eye on the Curio Shop (or our Twitter feed — we announce when the rares are on), then you can pick up something totally cool to send your friend.
- If you’re a Deluxe member, you might want to send your non-Deluxe friends some of the Deluxe-only W Shop items.
- If you’re not sure what someone would like, coupons are always appreciated! While the best is obviously the 90% off coupon, every little bit helps when you’re strapped for KinzCash.
- An awesome outfit. Maybe you’ve spent some time putting together a perfect ensemble — you could send all of the pieces to your friend for them to dress their pet in!
- Pet specific foods. There’s a lot of food collectors out there, so it’s always nice to share. If you’ve got one of the less common pets, that’s even better!

I know this is off topic, but speaking of sending gifts… I LOVE sending out PSF’s and food that I have grown, including the fun items from dispensers and from seeds and trees. My problem is I don’t trust the system and I don’t like to add a lot of ‘strangers’ to my friend’s list especially when I don’t know what they want. For instance , if I make a post, sometimes I will get a friend request. Now if the post is not about specific items, like this one, then I don’t know what they want, or if they just want another friend. Is there a way that we can add a friend and be able to “chat” with them or say when you send a friend request it would send a note saying … I want to be your friend because …. I want to trade PSF’s …. or ….. I like to have parties …. or I love to trade in the trading rooms … or … I love having lots and lots of friends ….. anyway, you get the idea. And moderator I am sorry if this is in the wrong place, I didn’t know where to put it.

Does anyone have any extras of old Christmas items from the Santakinz theme that they would be willing to send me? My username is janlove.
I have tried sending gifts to non deluxe members on my friend list and everytime I try to send the package it says you cannot send gifts to non deluxe members. I can send them a letter, but it won’t let me send gifts. Sally Webkinz you had mentioned sending gifts to non deluxe members, but it doesn’t let you… why?
You don’t have to be Deluxe to receive gifts, but you do have to be a Full member. Free members have much more restricted accounts.
Another thing to help someone get kinzcash is send them seeds. :) hey does anyone have items from the Persian room you don’t want anymore? I have a few items but not much and am looking for more.
What specific items are you looking for? and what is your WW ID? I may have a few …. and Arte sometimes has some up for sale!

As for items I know I DO have the thribe,rug,bookcase, wall and flooring and hot tub or whatever it is. And I’m low on kinzcash right now so I can’t get any rare things from Arte. Another great gift idea: If you are a person fortunate enough to have some dispensers from the estore (particularly the holidays ones), you can always include a treat or two in your Christmas present box!
Also, great job making that Wacky, Sally Webkinz! I have a Webkinz who would love it if I made something like that for her! (She’s a HUGE Wacky fan! :D )

I didn’t write down what I did, unfortunately. I tend to freehand most of my crochet :) “Vague triangular shape” with some “tubey” arms, etc.
