Special Report with Sally Webkinz

Sally Webkinz here with a deeper look at Winterfest! There are some cool things about the items that you can win this year — have you discovered them yet? Many of the items have multiple views, or behave a little differently in room. The Newz gang got together for some outdoor fun, then relaxed indoors afterwards in a chalet spa!

In this room, I’ve paired the First Snow Flooring from the Winter Wonderland Theme with the grand prize from the 2018 Winterfest Cookies — the Ski Slopes Wallpaper. In the back corner is the Expert Ski Slope (Cookie prize), and on the right is the regular Ski Slope.

You can see all four views of the Snow Covered Maple Tree (Cookie),  as well as the four different versions of the Winterfest Floor Tile, a snowflake prize.

Inside, you can see three of the four column views — the fourth is plain. The columns can be found in the Cookie prize pool. Also in the Cookie prize pool is the Chalet Ski Rack, which has an on and an off state. The coolest thing, though, is the Chalet Window — depending on where you place it in the room, you’ll see something slightly different in the background — this is great when you’re using several windows in the same room because it makes the outside feel much more realistic!

The wallpaper and flooring are this year’s Winterfest Challenge prize — a must-have for any indoor wintry room. And of course, I couldn’t resist adding the Penguin Cocoa Machine for the Newz team to help warm up after a day on the slopes. You can find that — along with an exquisite Elegant Icicles Bed — at Ganz eStore.

My favorite items from this year’s Winterfest is definitely the Arctic Fox and Snowshoe Hare Plushy! Unfortunately, there haven’t been any food prizes for a little while for Winterfest, but I can make do with the cocoa.

What are your favorite items? And what’s your favorite wintry treat after a long day playing in the snow? Tell us in the comments below!

Awesome!! I might buy a cookie… But I’m afraid I’ll use my estore points and get something I do not want. :S I was getting surprised that Sally hasn’t talked about food, and then right at the end she did! ;D

It would be awesome if we could win winterfest food prizes to decorate rooms with, or more placeable foods from any of the floaty clicky events.

Forgot to mention: the Chalet Columns! They are stunning! I love the way they rotate; it makes them so versatile to use in many different designs. I actually used one in my barn; with the lantern showing, it looks great!

Hi Sally! Happy New Year, and welcome back to Special Report; I missed you! Your rooms are great; thank you for showing off the new Winterfest items. This is the best Winterfest ever. So much fun, such fantastic prizes. My ice hockey rink is set up the same way yours is, only longer, because I had a lot of ice hockey rink fences lol—–I like yours better, though, it’s more compact. It’s hard to pick my favorite item of Winterfest—they are all so amazing–but the Chalet window and those winter trees are not only beautiful designs, but uber cool because they are interactive. Also, I love those ski slopes; my pets are having a blast skiing! (I’m not sure it gets any cuter than a Webkinz wearing skis!) The chalet furniture and wallpaper are gorgeous, and the ski lift sofa looks fantastic in my outdoor ski slope room! It’s like a fancy Swiss ski resort for Webkinz in my account, thanks to all the wonderful Winterfest items. And of course, I love that Arctic Fox and Hare. A huge thank you to the artists and design team at Ganz for creating such spectacular items. (oh–my favorite treat after a day in the snow? Hot cocoa, of course! Dark chocolate. It comes in a canister; I have to order it–best hot cocoa in the world!)

What’s the water in the middle of the room? Part of the flooring, or an item?

I think you did a great job with all the new items. :) My favorites are the ones that change when rotated. And I am very happy that there are no food items to be caught. :D

    Gotta love those multi-view windows!

    Oh, I love them!

I love the fox plushy and the ski rack. I also like the idea of the window. I hope you guys make more windows like that, it stops them from looking repetitive and unrealistic on the wall.
