Steve Webkinz here, reporting on some fantastic improvements to the bath and sink activities!
For those who don’t already know, baths and sinks in your pet’s room are a fun way to keep your pet looking and feeling great! Once you add one to a room, just click on it to help your pet get started!
If you’ve already been enjoying the Webkinz mobile app, you are probably familiar with some of the previous updates to the bath activity. But now we’ve made some further improvements and brought everything into the web version of Webkinz!
Unlike the previous mobile version, this new update will show the actual bath tub your pet is sitting in. It will also improve the way you use the shampoo, soap and sponge when cleaning your pet. Playing with the bubbles will also once again be lots of fun!
The sink activity hasn’t been active on the Webkinz mobile app before, and now this new and improved version will be available on both web and mobile!
Like the bath activity, sinks will feature an updated new look with improvements for using the hair brush, toothbrush and face cloth! And don’t forget have a little fun bursting all of those bubbles!
Don’t forget—you’ll earn Family Score every day for each pet that you groom or bathe, while also helping to boost their Happiness and Energy!
The new bath and sink activities are available now on Webkinz.com and will be coming to mobile after our next app update.

I must admit, I do like the improvements to the bath in Webkinz itself. I think it looks pretty darn cute! :-)
I love doing activities for my pets to increase their family score, but I am already way over 1,000,000 points and there are no more prizes, which we had originally been told would be coming. When are they coming?
A while ago Sally or someone else said more would be coming when more people reach 1,000,000 Family score, but unfortunately I don’t think that’ll be anytime soon. It must be annoying when your pets still ask you for stuff despite being past that number limit.
There are plans to add a few more prizes and milestones at some point in the new year.
These improvements are great, but I’m having a bit of trouble with the hair brush. XP
It’s also kinda annoying when my pets are constantly saying, “Time to rinse!” when I don’t want to rinse yet. XD

There are still a few fine-tuning issues that will be addressed in the new year.

I think it is a NICE but since getting the max rewards in the past and we were promised new rewards. I have close to 3 MILLION and a friend had 5 million . I would love SINGING FLOWERS or a RainyDay Machine and a BRAIN STORM CHAIR . This is nice but follow through with US. I also have more PETS than you can show. PLEASE make a 2d page for us who have lots of pets to use . I can handle serching a book for my pets and please NUMBER the pets to make it easier for us to do them in order for when we do just pet care.
It’s astonishing to me that anyone has reached even the one million mark. It’s clear that unless the time I have to devote to Webkinz quadruples overnight, I will never get there! (Maybe if Webkinz World is still around for another 20 years!)
I hate to be negative, but you asked what we would like you to report on next. TVs, please. At least the baths and sinks worked in Webkinz.com. The TVs have not worked for well over 2 years, as anyone knows who lived thru Webkinz X. Yet, they are still for sale, and expensive at that. It must be very disappointing for new players to buy a TV which is still described as “this item can be turned on to entertain your pet”, only to find out it doesn’t work at all, and may never. Can you give an update on when or if they will ever work again? Thanks.
The TV update project has been written up, but until it goes into the production piepeline, we can’t give a time estimate for when it will be released.
SINKS and TUBS and my Moon Fox shower give NO POINTS on WEBKINZ.COM !
The Blue Moon Lagoon (the Moon Fox’s PSI) is a spa–not a tub or shower–so it will not award points. The new bath and sink activity requires you to use at least one thing when cleaning your pet to award points, instead of just jumping in and clicking “Done”.

Steve, your space monkey looks so happy to be getting groomed! I have a question about the new sink feature. With the old sinks on the .com version, I used to be able to brush all of my pet’s fur, but now, I can only brush the fur on top of their head. Is it supposed to be this way? I like seeing the different sinks and baths, but I’m not sure what I think about the big splash of water that rinses the pets. I liked rinsing the soap gently before. I do like the faster showers from the mobile version, and now on the .com version. Thanks for the report, Steve!
We will look into allowing players to use the brush over all of the pet in a future update.
How about why I get booted out of Coral Cove when I ‘win’? My prize is getting knocked out of the room instead of the box gift now.
That happened to me today too!
I think that’s happened to pretty much everybody, anon55, & it’s been like that for ages now. With all of the updates they’re doing, I hope the functionality of the Vacation Island will be next. Followed rapidly by the Adventure Park, which, as far as I know, has NEVER been updated since it was added to the game. These features are part of what we pay for with a Deluxe membership and should be functioning properly and kept reasonably current. The only reason I kept visiting the Adventure Park the past couple of years is the possibility of digging up another piece of Victorian Garden Path, and I no longer need any more of those, so I don’t even go any more. There are only so many wall stickers from the Daily Quest that one can use…..
IT’S NOT AN IMPROVEMENT.. PLEASE CHANGE BACK..
