The Candy Cane Collection is back and if you collect all 50 Candy Canes by the end of the month, you’ll win the Grand Prize!

Here’s how to play: From December 1st – 31st, look for the Candy Cane Collection icon on your Kinzville Map and click on it to see your Collection. Everyday, you’ll get 1 free Candy Cane, just for clicking on the Collection icon (Deluxe Members will get 2 free Candy Canes a day).
Once you have received your free Candy Cane, you can get 5 more throughout the day by asking your friends (by clicking the ASK FRIENDS button) or by finding and clicking on the floating Candy Cane on WebkinzNewz.com.
Please collect your free Candy Cane from your Kinzville Map before getting your floating Candy Cane on WebkinzNewz.com. Some players have been experiencing issues with getting their free daily Candy Cane from the Map if they have collected the one from WebkinzNewz.com first

AWESOME!! I like this theme, and I LOVE collection events!!
CANDY CANES——-I cannot get past the ASK FRIENDS button….this happens every time they start a new game……but usually only for an hour or two……this has been down all day, now I’ve lost one of the 15 days and if they can’t find out the problem soon, it won’t be worth the trouble since I can’t get the grand prize. It would be nice if they would trouble-shoot these things to see if they work before turning them loose on us !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What browser are you using, purrc? I’ve sometimes had to change browsers or clear my cache and restart before events worked properly. Other players have had good luck by hiding their dock before clicking on the collection icon. Maybe you could try that? See if something works for you? You can also add me if you need friends for the collections–I’m Ilse2010.

I know the Candy Cane Collection is working because my friends have been asking me to send them canes, but when I click on the Candy Cane Collection icon on the map, it doesn’t open. I’ve tried Chrome, Edge and Firefox. I’ve never had trouble with collection events before. What could be wrong???
Have you tried hiding your dock?
Can not ask friends to send candy canes, and I only get 2 candy canes a day, this has been like this for the last 5 times that has happened I live with it.
I had the same problem for a while this morning. Hiding the dock didn’t work for me. Eventually, it started to work – but not every time. It seems to be more likely to work if you wait for the flashing arrow to quit. I had this same issue the last time there was a collection, but never before that. I hope it will work for you soon.
I had a problem too. The icon wasn’t showing even when I hid my dock. After I completed the Wheel of Wow challenge the candy cane icon appeared and I could ask friends to send candy canes. Never got my the 2 free candy canes that Deluxe members should receive :(
I can open the icon, but my friends list is empty. This is happening to 4 of my nieces too! Where are our friends’ names?
