The Candy Cane Collection is back and if you collect all 50 Candy Canes by the end of the month, you’ll win the Grand Prize!

Here’s how to play: From December 1st – 31st, look for the Candy Cane Collection icon on your Kinzville Map and click on it to see your Collection. Everyday, you’ll get 1 free Candy Cane, just for clicking on the Collection icon (Deluxe Members will get 2 free Candy Canes a day).
Once you have received your free Candy Cane, you can get 5 more throughout the day by asking your friends (by clicking the ASK FRIENDS button) or by finding and clicking on the floating Candy Cane on WebkinzNewz.com.
Please collect your free Candy Cane from your Kinzville Map before getting your floating Candy Cane on WebkinzNewz.com. Some players have been experiencing issues with getting their free daily Candy Cane from the Map if they have collected the one from WebkinzNewz.com first

Where did the candy cane collection go today? I see from reading the earlier comments that it must be everyone, not just me. At any rate, I am sure you will be soon fixing it and not penalizing anyone if we get behind on cane collecting.
i am also not able to ask for candy canes please help with this problem its been happening every time there’s a collection event.
I haven’t been able to get my two free candy canes a day for the collection, and I have no idea why. I never get the one on WKN, so that can’t be the problem. It did this for most of the collection in the fall, too, so that contributed to me not getting as many prizes as usual, which I was disappointed about. I hope Ganz will fix this soon…if you add it up, it’s a lot of candy canes I’m losing by not getting the two bonus ones a day!
I cannot ask friends for candy canes and all the prizes wont show how many you need to collect. What is going on ?
I also have not been successful in getting candy canes. I go to the map first still no candy canes. Can’t ask friends, the one from Webkinz news was not there, the ones I get at the map come then go away again. :(
Sally, I’m also having trouble with the candy cane collection >m< I can click on the icon and ask friends for candy canes, but I haven't received the two daily candy canes you get just for clicking! (Both yesterday and today- so I'm down 4 canes) I've gotten the canes from newz just fine, but I think a lot of people are having various problems with this event! The grand prize is just too cute to let slip by… Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi obvsaprincess – I hope my suggestion will solve your problem. Make you you click on the map icon to collect your free candy canes. Then send your friends requests for more candy canes. Last, collect your floating candy cane on Webkinz Newz. Do not collect the WKN floaties before collecting the free ones from the map – it will mess it up if you don’t collect in the right order. Ganz is aware of this – read the first part of the above article and it explains the situation. Best Wishes. :-)

Are you a Deluxe member? Its only for Deluxe members, if I am correct. If you are, I hope you get them soon. If not, you should go Deluxe to get two daily!

The Candy Cane Collection is not working. I received 2 candy canes yesterday (the first day of the event) per the deluxe membership and one from Webkinz News. They have disappeared! Today the collection didn’t give any candy canes. I was unable to send requests to friends either yesterday or today. What is going on?? Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

who has two computers ready for these canes……if it worked last Christmas, the answer is, not to buy a new computer…………..maybe we’ll get lucky and get one or two before Christmas. Good luck !!!
I get lots of requests from my friends and I send them==========but are they receiving them or am I just wasting time ? I still can’t ask for canes, can’t get into the ASK FRIENDS button.
If I am looking at the candy cane progress page and open my messages to see who sent me candy canes, then I can’t use the ask friends button. I have to get out of the map page and go back in and only go to ‘ask friends’. Not sure if my problem is similar to yours, but hope it helps and you can ask friends soon…
I am sad to admit that at first I wasn’t too crazy about this year’s collection prizes. But, Michael Webkinz did such a fabulous job designing a room with them, mixing them with other pieces, that he won me over. The theme is definitely growing on me! I look forward to creating my own flashy Christmas room!
