Everyday, you’ll get 1 free Candy Cane by clicking on the icon (Deluxe Members will get 2 free Candy Canes a day).
Once you have received your free Candy Cane, you can get 5 more throughout the day by asking your friends (by clicking the ASK FRIENDS button) or by finding and clicking on the floating Candy Cane on WebkinzNewz.com.

I am not getting my 2 free candy canes! whats up!?
Hi Ellen1970 – Did you collect the floating candy cane here on WKN before you logged in to your WW account? If so, you need to collect your 2 candy canes from the collection icon on the map page, then ask your friends for more, and only then can you collect the free floating one from WKN.
I only clicked on the candy cane icon. I had not ask for canes from anyone or from floaters.
That’s really weird, then. Can you try a different browser or use the new desktop app? Maybe hide your dock before clicking on the collection icon? I hope it works out for you.

I am a deluxe member and should get 2 candy canes when I click on the candy cane collection BUT since I clicked on the candy cane on Webkinz Newz first I did not receive my 2 daily candy canes….SO FOR ANYONE ELSE THAT IS DELUXE click on the collection FIRST so that you do not lose out on your 2 daily candy canes….WEBKINZ PLEASE FIX THIS GLITCH….Thanks and Happy Holidays!
Ideally, if you click on the collection FIRST, then candy canes SENT from your friends, and the candy cane from Newz LAST…they should all award correctly. I have noticed that if I collect from Newz before I collect my free ones, it doesn’t always award right away. It usually catches up in a few days, though. If it doesn’t straighten out, though, you can always contact Customer Support.

IF YOU USE MICROSOFT EDGE IT DOES NOT LET YOU SEND ANY TO FRIENDS….I USE INTERNET EXPLORER AND IT WORKS GREAT….GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Try hiding your dock, that might work.

Have you tried logging out, closing your browser, and then relaunching? It happened to me once, and I think that’s how it straightened out. You might try switching browsers or hiding your dock; sometimes that helps, too.

Hello, I just spent REAL MONEY to purchase an ANIMATED WALLPAPER called the ‘Garage Band’ wallpaper, and upon placing it into my room the animation does not work. Without the animation the wallpaper is extremely boring and I cannot find a suitable replacement for my concert room! I spent almost 1000 ESTORE POINTS on this wallpaper, and I am very disappointed!!! Please fix this item, as it would mean the world to me. Thank you. I won’t be purchasing more items from the estore until this is resolved.
