It’s time to collect Valentines from your friends… and this year you get 1 extra day to complete your collection!
Here’s how to play: Look for the Valentine collection icon on your Kinzville Map and click on it to see your collection (web only). Everyday you’ll get 1 free Valentine, just for clicking on the collection icon (Deluxe Members will get 2 free Valentines a day).
Once you have collected your free Valentine, you can get 5 more throughout the day by asking your friends (by clicking the ASK FRIENDS button) or by finding and clicking on the floating Valentine on WebkinzNewz.com. You can even use your eStore points to purchase Valentines to complete your collection quicker. Click the GET MORE button for details.
If you manage to collect all 50 Valentines by midnight, February 29th (EST), you’ll win the Grand Prize: A Sweetheart Cello, but you’ll also win other prizes along the way. Here’s a closer look at what you can win and how many Valentines you need for each prize:
Add the Sweetheart Cello to your pets room and click on it in play mode to listen to your pet play a heartwarming melody in honor of Valentine’s Day.

If you need a friend, friend my new account 123Hopscotch. I also play as maidoforleans, but that friendlist is way too big. My sweetheart piano keeps dipping and rising, although fortunately it still plays Cannon in D. My daughter, who was on webkinz since she was 5 loved that. It inspired her to ask her piano teacher if she could learn Cannon in D and it turned out that her piano teacher had heard it on a David Attenborough wildlife programme in the ’70′s and made her parents track it down for her to play. She gave my daughter that original copy that meant so much to her. I photocopied it and sent the original back. Webkinz, please fix that piano. It means a lot around here.

I think you’ll get plenty of good people. I started keeping a list of who “played” with me, and then I did a huge purge on webkinz day. Someone like you made the same plea and I put up my info and listed what I do and don’t like to do in the world. I received many good friend requests from that. (it would be nice if they had a short profile on the friend phone.)

Two things– It sounds like you still need to get the free one from your account BEFORE you get the one from newz? I really wish that would be changed. I also wish there was a “start over” option for the collection. I want to go through it all and get the cello, but I would really like several of those tables to make a romantic restaurant. Not having to go all the way through cello every time would possible earn me an extra. Still, the cello will fit in well in other rooms. Good Luck and Have Fun!

oh, I know I can start over AFTER I get the cello each time. I meant that after you go through once, I wanted to be able to start over anytime. Say I wanted a room of balloons: 20, start over, 20, start over, etc. Thanks for confirming that annoying newz 2nd thing.
Thank you, WK World, for spreading some love around and for these “sweet” prizes! We can’t wait to start collecting Valentines. We especially love that the cello plays music! Animated objects are best. But, we really wish that pets received happiness increases for interacting with these items.
