Trick Or Treat Street Retires October 31st

The Trick or Treat Street room theme will be removed from the W Shop on October 31st (midnight EST). Only the sidewalk tiles will remain in the shop after Halloween. You’ll be able to find them in the DECORATIONS section of the W Shop, under OUTDOORS.

The Haunted Castle room theme will also be retired from the mobile W Shop at midnight, October 31st. You can download the Webkinz mobile app for free at the Google Play store and at the App store. You’ll find the Haunted Castle room theme in the Mobile Zone section of the W Shop on the Webkinz mobile app.

You never know which items will return next year and which ones will be retired for good, so you may want to pick up multiples before Halloween is over for another year.

What items would you like to see added to the Trick or Treat Street room theme next  Halloween? Let us know by leaving a comment in the section below…

I still haven’t actually picked up this theme yet, eheh… ^^; But, thanks for the reminder, I need to make sure I get enough of these that I wanted before they retire. :P

This theme has grown on me so much! When the final products first came out I wasn’t as excited as I had been in previous years, but once I started making rooms I realized how cute this theme is! I usually like spookier things for Halloween, but having a totally different theme this year that’s geared toward all of the fall season is a nice contrast to the other themes we’ve gotten.

I wasn’t expecting to like the Trick or Treat Street theme (I really wanted the Glampire one) but I’m really loving it!

Do you have to have an adoption account to access the mobile zone WShop in app or can you access it with a free account? Haven’t been able to get the mobile zone in app

This is off topic, but could you maybe offer more than just 2 pets next Tricky Tuesday? Or maybe change the ‘normal’ pets being offered? I have bought all the pets I wanted

Since comments are turned off on the podkinz post, I’ll say it here- I hope we get the haunted cottage building pack for a prize. That was around before I returned to WW and I want it so much. Thanks!

Personally, I would love to see a spookier-looking house added to the Trick-or-Treat Street theme next year! The three houses that are in the theme now are okay, I suppose, but I honestly don’t really like the style or the colors all that much– they don’t really remind me of Halloween, unlike the awesome houses that were in the original concept art ‘^^ I think it would be kinda nice if they added an additional home that was antiquated and more “decked out” for the holiday– that way, those of us who wish this theme had looked more like Halloween could have something cool to decorate with, while those who prefer this theme being less spooky could continue to use the three current homes. I think it would be a win-win for everyone! ;)

Same here! I think something like that would be more fitting for Halloween next year! I do like the theme myself but I do get what you mean by it not looking much like Halloween itself. But yes, I do think the original concept art looks so much better than the actual ones! ^-^

How about a set of houses that are decorated a little more appropriate for Halloween! Dark creepy colors. Lots of bats, skeletons, ghosts, spiders, and so on. Make some items that are spookier and not so “family friendly”. That will give us a choice when decorating. A lot of us love the spookier side of Halloween. Maybe add more trees like the Trick or Treat Street Tree. That is probably one of my favorite pieces of this new theme. Also, could you improve the Costume Shop to hold more than just 9 costume pieces? Why not let it hold 15 or more clothing items? Over all this was a great theme, just needed to be a whole lot spookier. The Haunted Castle could use some new items, too. More furniture, please! You can retire the throne, the portrait, and the stone column, too. Not my fave pieces. Please make more seasonal themes and bring back the Ancient Room Themes like Egypt, Aztec, and the others. :-)

I think there are ways to make it creepier. I’m working on a day and night street with items I had from other years.

I have noticed each year its inside or outside . Maybe next year. Costume shop is not going to offer more but te AMAZING WORLD TRUNK that is a reward here holds 15 and takes up just 1 small space and is small enough for you to see pet check each for outfits. ITS MY FAVORITE I have so so many roms full I LOVE this trunk !!! Egypt theme I am waiting for the Egyptian MAU Kitten PSI IS SO COOL !!

Maybe next year’s add on to the Trick or Treat theme could have a grocery storefront with cardboard boxes with pumpkins for sale & a blue house that’s crazily decorated for a Halloween party. When the house is clicked on it could play different halloween songs & not just Scaredy Cat. It would be nice if the trick or treat bags could be used with ALL of the Halloween costumes & not just eight. Pittiesrule

Oh, I like the idea of a Storefront and an extra house that it REALLY decked out! We all have one like that in our neighborhood! Not sure how the coding would work for using the Candy Bags with the one piece outfits but that would be nice. That way if there is a fancy belt for a dress that doesn’t have one it should work for that as well. Not to mention being able to use backpacks with the school dresses.

I would love a local grocery store with pumpkins out front! That’s a great idea for next year! Michael had the right idea when he used the haunted cottage building kit, because every neighborhood seems to have at least one house that goes over-the-top with decorating every year! I agree with you, ~Pittiesrule, and I wish that the tech gurus could find a way for us to have our pets wear items in the belt slot with one-piece outfits. You have some great suggestions!
