When an item is retired, that means it is no longer available unless you can find another player willing to trade it.
Some of the oldest retired items were originally supposed to be “toys” but looked more like clothing, like the Baseball Hat, Figure Skates, Hockey Skates and the Toy Tool Belt. These items could be placed in a room, but weren’t at all interactive. Once pet clothing was added to the world, these “toys” were retired to prevent any confusion.
One of the first clothing items to be retired were the WZ Jeans, which were given out for a special promotion back in 2006.
Now they have earned the distinction of being part of the ultimate Webkinz collector items!
What does WZ stand for? And does anyone have the white figure skates for trade?

WZ stands for Wacky Zingoz. (I hope I spelled that correctly!) I think they were a click-to-win event a long time ago during the Wacky Zingoz celebration event or something.
I feel like more of people have the WZ jeans then the hockey and ice skating stuff. But yeah I feel like a lot of people have the jeans. and some of that stuff was made in 2005 which was the year webkinz was made

The jeans are really awesome but people who have them always ignore me in the trading room.
Yeah, people who have them usually just go to the Trading Room to chat, which I find annoying. But, now, it’s understandable. They’ve taken all the other KinzChat+ rooms, you can’t find your friends in the park (no button for it). I think Ganz should make a ‘find your friends’ button for the park.

Wow! I don’t remember any of these except the jeans! I joined in 2006, and I have the jeans, but they’re not for trade.

noooo!!!! in 2006 i had like 6 pairs of those WZ jeans, but then I sold them all cause I only needed one :’(
I have SO done this before!! I’ve had items and I just though, “Eh, these are taking up room.” And I would sell them, only for the item to be retired later on! I now collect as much as I can of exclusive-ish looking items, like the Winterfest stuff, that may be of value later.
