The Webkinz World User Agreement has been updated. Some of these updates include the changes first announced with this special report published on March 2, 2019.

As reported earlier, Webkinz World accounts are no longer being archived. Accounts that have purchased pets, in-game currency or Deluxe memberships may be deleted after 24 months of inactivity. Accounts with no paid activity may be deleted after six months of inactivity.
Players with archived accounts will have until September 30, 2019 to retrieve them. As of October 1, 2019, all remaining accounts in the archive will be deleted. As a result, the usernames associated to these accounts will be available once again to register as new accounts.
The User Agreement now also explicitly forbids the sale or trade of any and all virtual items, with the exception of the trading of items for items through the in-game system. Virtual items may not be sold for cash, traded for eStore points, or traded for any equivalent service or consideration. Accounts violating these terms may be permanently banned.
Additional changes to the User Agreement can be reviewed directly. Please read our User Agreement regularly, as our Service is continually evolving.
What about trading an eStore item code for another item? Would that be allowed?
That is not a trade that can be completed using the in-game system.
So will WE be able to sell anything back through the Webkinz.com W Shop? Will WE be able to Webkinz mail items to friends/family?
Selling to the W Shop is selling for KinzCash. KinzCash is not eStore points, real money or equivalent. Mailing gifts has never been a problem. The only thing forbidden here is the selling of virtual items for eStore points, real money, or things/services worth real money.
I paid for my points they are no longer money. I paid for my pets and deluxe codes. They are no longer money. I bought them, should be able to trade them. If this happens I guess ganz will be getting a lot of charge backs people make to their credit cards. If people sell them then yes that should be stopped but to trade when no money is being exchanged, you bet there will be lots of up roar , people quitting and a lot of charge backs
This isn’t an if. This is the User Agreement. This is in place now. You might want to review the User Agreement in more detail.
So my question is. WE can not TRADE our points or memberships. I know selling is not allowed. I am talking about trading with no money involved.

So basically same rules as before. Trading points and codes was not allowed before. But we can gift them correct.
Correct. Selling items/trading for points/cash was always against the rules, but it has been stated more explicitly now. Gifting is fine.
SO is the TRADEING ROOM GOING TO BE OVER/??? Can we send things to each other ?? I usually send myself coinz and to family if they are short is that OK ??? Virtual items in Deluxe boxes can they be sent ??

This ONLY applies to the trading or selling of items for eStore points, real money or things/services worth real money.

Is it ok to send someone an e-store item as a gift?
Yes. Gifting is fine. Selling or trading for points, cash or equivalent is not.
What about traidings in Traiding Room?
Trading items for items within the in-game system is permitted.
Will we be able to trade virtual items on trading forums? The one inside WW goes so fast it’s intimidating trying to find things in your dock.
This is not referring to how you negotiate a trade, only how the trade physically occurs. Trading must be items for items within Webkinz World.
I wish the you could sort your furniture by color or what they are because when you have a lot it’s very difficult to try and find items.
I agree, friend! I know it’s extra work for the terrific Magicians at Webkinz but the dock is wwaaayyyy past needing to be redone. We have so much stuff compare to (remember this,,,,>?) we were limited to about 1000 items. I have no idea how many items I have but we used to see a count, which would inspire me to sell/clean/OMG why do I need all this. Trading is difficult because before, you could set it up so the things you were selling were at the beginning of your dock. Period, ditto when you put them back. Now, it’s literally 300+ clicks to get to the end of the furniture, where someone is asking me for Wacky stuff. Even having a sub-tab (like in “clothes” — and the category divisions from the wShop can be used for the tabs) for chairs, tables, beds would be awesome beyond description. Even an eStore section to the dock for the things we paid for (so they’re not accidentally traded) or can’t trade would help so much organizing.
What about the buying and selling of plushys with codes on eBay. What will happen to those people. Or just buying codes.I know it says u will shut down user accounts. But if the items are codes and transferred through email what will webkinz do?
This is referring to the trading/selling of virtual items. This does not apply to the secondary market for plush. Purchasing unsealed codes is a risky venture, as Adoption Codes are important to the security of your account. Purchasing items from anywhere except Ganz eStore or the W Shop/in-game shops is forbidden.

So basically it is okay to give points or even a pet as a gift, but it’s forbidden to give any virtual items to that person at all? Can’t really see that happening but ok
No. Gifting is not a problem. Trading items for eStore points, legal currency or a service worth legal currency is what is forbidden. For example, you cannot trade your item for 1000 points, or $1, or for $1 worth of products or services.
Wait If we buy a virtual pet from the Ganzestore for another player as a gift. Is that forbidden or is that okay?
If you purchase someone a pet in exchange for their items, that is forbidden. If you are simply giving a gift, that is fine.
can we still sell stuff at the wshop
Selling at the W Shop is not selling for eStore points, cash or equivalent. Selling at the W Shop for KinzCash is a part of the game.

Yes, you can. If we didn’t want you selling items at the W Shop, that wouldn’t be a feature that was available.

Yes. Trading items for items is fine.
