The Webkinz World User Agreement has been updated. Some of these updates include the changes first announced with this special report published on March 2, 2019.

As reported earlier, Webkinz World accounts are no longer being archived. Accounts that have purchased pets, in-game currency or Deluxe memberships may be deleted after 24 months of inactivity. Accounts with no paid activity may be deleted after six months of inactivity.
Players with archived accounts will have until September 30, 2019 to retrieve them. As of October 1, 2019, all remaining accounts in the archive will be deleted. As a result, the usernames associated to these accounts will be available once again to register as new accounts.
The User Agreement now also explicitly forbids the sale or trade of any and all virtual items, with the exception of the trading of items for items through the in-game system. Virtual items may not be sold for cash, traded for eStore points, or traded for any equivalent service or consideration. Accounts violating these terms may be permanently banned.
Additional changes to the User Agreement can be reviewed directly. Please read our User Agreement regularly, as our Service is continually evolving.
Hello! I was wondering how to get the log in information from my brothers account password. We signed up in 2007, so we didn’t connect the account with an email address. I can not remember the password to save my life! The account name is shelby7s. How can i get the password?

What about codes for estore items, like for non-tradeable estore items? Can those be sold or traded for points?

After an old account expires can we use the code of the pets from that account again?
No. Pet codes are not reset when an account is deleted.
Does “Accounts with no paid activity may be deleted after six months of inactivity.” mean we have to buy a new pet every 6 months instead of every year?
No. It means you must log in regularly. If you don’t log in for 6 months, an account that has never purchased a pet, points or Deluxe membership may be deleted. This has nothing to do with your membership status.
Thank you Sally! I never understood how people could sell or buy fake Webkinz items – earn it fair and square or it’s cheating! We didn’t know about Webkinz until 2007 and would love to have the 2005 and 2006 items but we’re not going to cheat to get them!

If you have paid activity on an account, you have up to two years before the account will be deleted for inactivity. It does not matter if your account is free, full or Deluxe, as long as you log in regularly.
Oh my gosh, WHAT? Okay, so I have GOT to ask my siblings who don’t play Webkinz anymore to GET ON AND MAKE THEIR ACCOUNTS ACTIVE. O_O But Ganz, please, e-mail those with archived accounts. I had a best friend and she just disappeared without telling me. She was known as Majesticfox here on WW, and russaly on WW, and I’m not about to just let her account name disappear off of my friend’s list. Good point you make MLP. Many of us get the error message: “You already have 8 invitations out that have not been answered. Please wait before sending another invitation.” I can not send out any new friend requests and so my friend’s list is not unlimited. The only way I can get new friends is if they add me. There are players I meet with the same problem so we will never be able to be friends. Not Unlimited!
