In our latest Webkinz Next release, we made a last-minute change to how interactive objects work to solve an issue we were experiencing in the new Kinzville Academy location. Unfortunately, this change appears to have broken some of our Container objects, like Fridges, Dressers and Wardrobes.
Rest assured that this issue has not affected your data in the least. All of your clothes and food are still safely inside the containers. They simply can’t be opened.
We will be working on this issue and will be submitting a new version of the game to the stores as soon as possible. We expect this to be early next week, but please remember that we cannot control how long it takes for the stores to approve our App, so we cannot give a firm date as to when the fix will be in your hands.
We also had issues in this release that affected the Gem Crafting Table and Fortune Teller booth in the Curio Shop. Both of these issues have been resolved and the features can be used again as expected.
I downloaded the update but now is says I need to download again. I am also seeing a message on the home screen saying debug server calls.

For some reason i can’t change my outfit on webkinz next, but classic is just fine.
I just reinstalled the app from the latest update and now the game window absolutely refuses to collapse for me to do other things at the same time. Hovering my mouse at the top right corner or at the bottom to try to get my task bar does nothing. No minimize option, no close option, nothing. Just the stuck window. I have to use the windows key, and then sometimes that doesn’t even give me the bar options, I have to click multiple times. This just started tonight after I updated. Also thumbs down on the bloated new icons and moving things around.
Sounds like your app is in full screen mode. Hold down Alt and press the Enter key to go back to windowed mode.
why is there connection issues today both games.
I am having issues with staying logged in. I get into my account and it slowly logs in. When the page finally pulls up, after a few moments – I get Connection Issue. Then I get the message Lost Connection With Game Server and I get logged out. This had been going on for over a week. I have cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times. I have sent 3 email to customer support for help and they have not responded nor have they read my emails. I need this to be fixed. Account name is ccajsmith2
the internet was down for 6 days in my area. I cannot get onto webkinz next. I have tried everything I can think of but my webkinz next account has flashing “Connection Issue”. I am not sure what is wrong but everything on webkinz classic works. I have internet connection.
ok so I worked on this issue all night . I now get a connection by turning off secure vpn, however I can not access my account. It let me open a new account but not my 1st account where all my pets and things are, the window starts to load but then closes completely. I emailed webkinz support , waiting for a response back. I notice when I tried parents area the sign in does not recognize my account info, states it is wrong. It is not. I guess I will wait to hear back now that I know it will work on another account and that securing your VPN blocks the ad on the side where you sign in and also blocks connection to online. now to find out where my 1st webkinz next account is…
Hi nettne2! I hope all your internet issues are solved soon. I too have an issue logging into the Parents Area. I was thinking of trying Kinz Chat Plus. I get the same message that my “login information is incorrect”, but I log in daily to Webkinz, so I know my login information is correct. I haven’t had a chance to contact support yet. Hey while you are fixing those problems can you fix polar plunge on next i have a challenge you click the game it loads you click easy medium hard or the one it random picks it tries to load then kicks you completely out of Webkinz next then you have to log back in My daughter is not able to play it either we are on different computers so i know it is not the computers we have reloaded webkinz next several times it does not help thanks in advance

On Next I got to the sandy beach tile piece on the summer points thing and it never ended up in my dock. Is this an issue too, or did I just miss out on it for whatever weird reason?
It wasn’t a tile, it was a style — that means you can change the lawn on your property to look like a beach! Just click the Edit button, and then click on the properties button.

Hello again Sally–I don’t have the style piece in my dock either. I looked at my entire dock and it’s just not there. What should I do?
It does not go in your dock. To see it, you must click on the Edit button and then the Properties button. You can then set your lawn style to the sand.
