Winterfest
Winterfest has arrived! Collect up to five snowflakes a day for exciting winter prizes, including fun quilt floor tiles and the all-new Polarberry Bush from which you can harvest Polarberries!
We’ve taken Winterfest up a notch with two side events. First, every snowflake you catch also gives you… a snowflake! This new crafting material can be used to create your very own Snow Fort! This recipe is available from now until January 31st on the Carpenter’s Workbench (available in the W-Shop).
Second, we have an all-new type of challenge that can get you an amazing winter prize…
Community Challenges
Working on challenges is fun… working together is AWESOME! We’ve added challenges where everyone works together on a single goal. If the goal is reached, everyone who participates wins! Whether you contribute just a bit or a whole lot, you’re doing your part.

I have logged in and logged out several times for the past week, and still no snowflakes!

3.25 hrs and only one floating snowflake!?
If you aren’t seeing snowflakes, I’d suggest logging out and back in
I log in and out all day and no snowflakes. I got a few when it first started and now nothing. The same thing happened to me with the Holiday Toy Ball event. This just doesn’t work right yet. So disappointed.
Sometimes I find it works better if I’ve done a bit of decorating, browsed the W Shop and jumped around Kinzville a bit. Staying in one spot as soon as I log in has taken the longest.
I have a crafting table and no snowflake recipe is popping up for me? is the same thing happening for everybody else?
Which crafting table do you have? There are several.
I am glad to see more upgrades! I have two questions. Can you only make one snow fort? It disappeared from my crafting table the next day after I made one. I was so hoping to have more than one. The other question is there dirt available in the crafting bags? I have purchased over 20 bags and still have not seen any dirt. I would love mo make a plant. :)
You aren’t the only one unable to get the dirt/soil to craft the pot plant! I haven’t purchased any bags from the arcade but I have won quite a few through the wheel of wow and daily log in gifts. Although most other crafting resources I have at least one or two, I have never got any dirt/soil.
I also have made a fort, and I find that the recipe is gone. With 9 days left in the month, I anticipate catching plenty of snowflakes to build another. If not, do the snowflakes hang out in the dock until there’s something else to build – perhaps next year?
Hi,I keep open it a lot of crafting bags but still no dirt and not in store!maybe from growing plants after we harvest them 10 times??
My pet has been frozen in the corner of the room for 3 days now. I am unable to decorate the house, use the craft tables, or do anything else that requires moving about. I have sent in-game feedback twice and sent a private Facebook message to Betty Butter Ganz. What else do I need to do to get my pet unfrozen so I can make crafts out of the snowflakes before it’s too late?
I am SO looking forward to being able to catch more snowflakes tomorrow! I only catch one or two when I have to rush through and then go to work!
Thank GOODNESS that we are able to get craft bags in the arcade! Even so it took all of my 1400 tickets to get the buttons that I needed for the onesie! I did replenish my spices which was good.
Yes, it’s great, but I just noticed that in the release notes it says these are available for a “limited time” – so I guess we’d better get them while we can!
is there a limit to the number of snowflakes you can catch daily? and do they appear at any particular times? like in classic it would be every 6 – 7 minutes?
There’s an announcement when you log in — you can collect 5 daily. If you haven’t seen anything after a long time, try logging out and back in.

The “Winners” area of the “New Baby Showcase” seems to be gone; is that just a glitch?
I would love to use the ‘new’ app, but when I logged in, I got a new pet and NONE of my 100s of pets from the Classic. Also I don’t have any of my money, food, furniture, etc…ISN’T THERE A WAY TO MERGE THE TWO?
Nothing transfers from Classic. Your username is reserved as a courtesy. They are separate games and cannot be merged.
As I understand, they are 2 different platforms and don’t play well together. : )
Plus they’d have to design EVERY CLASSIC PET and that would take maybe a year.
